The Future of Art is Young.

World Children's Festival and America's 250th Anniversary.

The 7th World Children’s Festival (WCF) at the National Mall, across from the U.S. Capitol, from June 30 to July 2, 2026, will also be a national children’s celebration of America's 250th Birthday.

The festival offers a transformative experience that infuses personal creativity with mutual empathy to heal, inspire, and unite. We will kick off the three-day celebration with the Health & Environment Day, where the sharing of common interests and personal visions leads to the scaffolding of mutual empathy. Following that, Creativity & Imagination Day will focus on self-discovery and ideation for conflict resolution and collaborative innovation. Finally, on Peace & Leadership Day, students will participate in empathy education and leadership training, empowering them to become “creative-empaths” who can work together to transform our wounded world into a wondrous one.
