Hystelica is dedicated understanding the safe and effective use of psychedelics among women, addressing the critical need for gender-specific research in this field. Our mission is to uncover how psychedelics can uniquely affect women’s health and well-being, particularly where conventional treatments may fall short.
Hystelica is initiating a focused 12-week observational study, in partnership with MAPS, to assess the impact of microdosing psychedelics on the symptoms of menopause—a condition that affects a significant number of women, yet often remains inadequately treated. This study aims to track and analyze the changes in menopausal symptoms, mental health, and overall well-being, in women who have chosen to microdose psychedelic substances.
By conducting this research, Hystelica intends not only to enrich scientific knowledge but also to pave the way for new, personalized therapeutic strategies. The findings, fueled by the sponsorship and collaborative effort with MAPS, are set to empower women with actionable insights, providing them with informed options for managing menopause and enhancing their quality of life.
