Almost all marginalized and poor women in Nepal are without work opportunities. The resources for them are very low because they lack the skills and training to work with various opportunities. As a result, their standard of living is fragile. At the same time, the financial condition of their families is also poor. Those who cannot meet even basic economic needs. There is a difficult situation for health, education and livelihood. If proper training and skills can be provided to them, it will help in improving their economic and social standard of living. This will also help in achieving various goals including poverty alleviation of the country and global goals.
HDC Nepal conducts programs to help marginalized and poor young women and women become self-reliant by providing them with opportunities for skill-based training. For this, it gets financial support from various donor agencies and makes good use of the support.
In Nepal, young women and women need work skills to earn an income and earn a living. When they acquire skills, they are able to earn some income by working and help them run their families and become socially and financially strong. There is a plan to make Nepali women self-employed by spending the financial assistance received for women and women entrepreneurship. This will help reduce poverty and unemployment rates and improve their quality of life.
Anita Kumal is also one such poor girl. She said that after getting training from HDC Nepal, she has been earning well by driving an auto and the financial condition of her house is improving. She and many other poor young women and women have been given skill-based training with the financial support of donor agency Give2 Asia and the program has been successful in making them self-employed.
But many other marginalized and poor young women and women in need similar opportunities. HDC Nepal expects similar support.
