As we close out 2025, I want to share something remarkable with you.
This year, more people than ever walked through the doors of Homeless Resource Center seeking stability, safety, and a path forward. And because of supporters like you, we were able to show up for every single one of them.
From 2024 to 2025, our services grew across the board:
Total guests served grew from 8,946 to 12,113
Unique guests increased from 825 to 937
Showers increased from 2,092 to 2,710
Mail services increased from 752 to 1,071
Laundry remained a significant ongoing need, serving 610 guests in 2024 and 562 so far this year
And we still have one month to go!
But the numbers only tell part of the story.
In 2025, we also built and sustained five new, high-impact programs that strengthened our ability to meet people where they are:
Free Bike Repair Clinic: 60 bikes repaired so guests can get to work, appointments, and community.
Free Haircuts: 100+ haircuts restoring dignity, confidence, and opportunity.
Work Empowerment Program: 1,300 hours of low-barrier employment invested back into our community.
Three-Day-a-Week Meal Service: 250+ meals served each week, ensuring no one leaves hungry.
Free Phones + Minutes: 61 activated phones providing essential access to safety, housing, and employment.
This level of impact simply did not exist a year ago.
Now it is changing lives every single day.
To finish the year strong and meet the growing needs of our community, we’re launching a $20,000 December fundraising campaign.
