We're asking for a monthly or one time donation to transform a singers life! We are located in Los Angeles, CA The Hollywood Vocal Foundation was established out of HVS Conservatory to give talented underserved singers access to industry quality education and strong mentorship. Our foundation offers scholarships to help find their voices and turn their skill sets into sustainable careers in the music industry. Once an artist has been accepted to the Conservatory, we work with them to identify needs and give support. Our goal is to make financial aid available to every artist in need and we strive to make their educational dreams a reality. The impact your contribution is making in our community: In January we partnered with several local foster organizations committed to giving underserved youth the opportunities they deserve in their careers. In California alone, over 4,500 youth age out of foster care and step into adulthood unprepared. In response to this dilemma, we run seasonal scholarship contests for this underserved demographic and give them the education and mentorship they are entitled to. Kamari Wells was placed in 10 different foster families until the age of 18 and has always wanted to pursue a career in music but didn't know how or where to go. “Winning the 2025 Spring Scholarship contest has been life changing. Truly! I've learned a lot in just a short period of time and I feel like I'm a new person when it comes to my artistry. I can't wait for the Summer Program and Fall Semester to see what this year brings!” Only 8% of families in the US can afford to send their children to college. So where does that leave the rest? 92% of families rely on loans, credit card debt, financial aid in subpar programs or a lack of education altogether. HVS Conservatory is bridging that gap in the music world by working with artists and their families to find affordable solutions to getting the education they need to kick start their careers in this competitive industry. By making an annual or monthly tax deductible contribution, you are helping discover the next generation of vocalists who wouldn’t have the opportunity to be seen by LA’s most acclaimed professionals. And the city’s cultural landscape will continue to thrive and be admired by everyone around the world. Every scholarship recipient has the opportunity to take classes in vocal technique, songwriting, performance, style, ear training, production, engineering, piano, guitar, branding, marketing, and basic music business. Our curriculum has been written and developed by our elite faculty with years of education and professional experience making it the most modern curriculum you will find in the marketplace. 90% of your donation money goes directly to our scholarship program, which supports the financially underserved demographic in the country. And our free community events are centered around fostering a strong culture for vocalists to be mentored, learn industry standards, get professional experience, and grow to their full potential. By going through our program, every artist gains a music community for life. Our renowned mentors and faculty go above and beyond to support our students on their journey. And we have access to all the major and indie record labels, major and indie producers, managers, songwriters, and recording studios LA has to offer.
