**Young Women Emerge (YWE)** was born from a powerful partnership rooted in purpose.

In 2020, two passionate individuals—**Therese Nzale**, from RD Congo, and **Danielle Prince**, from the USA—met when working together in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). What began as professional collaboration quickly evolved into a deep bond grounded in shared values, vision, and a commitment to justice.

Through their work, Therese and Danielle discovered a profound synergy. They realized they were not only effective partners but also co-dreamers with a shared passion: empowering young women to overcome the systemic challenges of gender inequality, poverty, and violence.

In 2024, that passion became a reality. Together, they founded **Young Women Emerge**, a grassroots organization shaped by Therese’s lifelong dream and the urgent needs of girls in the DRC. YWE was created to be a space where girls can reclaim their futures, be mentored, gain skills, and emerge as leaders in their communities.

With over **55 years of combined experience** promoting human rights, education, and women’s empowerment, Therese and Danielle bring a legacy of advocacy to YWE. Their work spans continents and causes, but their focus remains constant: to support girls and young women in building lives of strength, purpose, and possibility.

The Transformative Justice Center provides services to the incarcerated and formerly incarcerated. 

Our mission is to advocate for transformative justice, emphasizing empathy and understanding as we work with those who have been incarcerated. We aim to break down the barriers of social stigma, creating a platform for personal growth and change. At the Transformative Justice Center, and our flagship prison program - Empathy in Action, we see past the person’s history and focus on their potential. By providing crucial support and resources, we aspire to drastically reduce recidivism and help individuals reclaim their lives. At its core, transformative justice works to transform relationships, institutions and systems historically founded in oppression, marginalization, and violence into ones grounded in restoration, respect, and responsibility.

We believe that everyone deserves a chance to be seen, heard, and understood regardless of background, race, class, socio-economic status, political or/and religious views. We know that most if not all people in prison come from painful, traumatic backgrounds, from victims to victimizers. We work to transform prison spaces into places focused on higher education, healing, whole body wellness, accountability and respect. We see that within every human being there exists the possibility to grow, to change, and to transform with the right tools and interventions. We are committed to building bridges being the public and our incarcerated community in order to learn, understand and humanize those most impacted by familial and societal harms.

ROC-DC is building power with restaurant workers in DC to create a more just, dignified and equitable restaurant industry. 

**Background**

ROC-DC has been building power with restaurant workers since 2009. We are a small worker-led organization that utilizes base-building, organizing and worker-led advocacy to move our mission forward. We have a strong focus on community building and leadership development to strengthen our ability as a restaurant worker community to make the changes we want to see in our industry and in DC. ROC-DC is fully independent organization from ROC-United (circa June 2024).  

**Addressing the Current Moment**

ROC-DC has been specifically equipped to support workers during crises, and have provided systems of support, training and mutual aid during the threats of Trump's first presidency, during the COVID-19 pandemic and currently under the federal occupation of Washington, DC that is putting so many of our members and restaurant workers at risk. ROC-DC has not only been providing necessary mutual aid support to our members, but also building out systems where workers can support one another during this time. We have provided comprehensive resources to restaurant owners/management supported members with creating Emergency Family Plans and provided ongoing community  & healing spaces to share resources and stay in community during such a stressful and isolating time.

Liminal Works - For Collective Liberation

The Casa Socio-Environmental Fund is an organization that promotes environmental conservation and sustainability, democracy, respect for socio-environmental rights and social justice through financial support to civil society initiatives and by strengthening their capacities in South America. We have pioneered the debate on socio-environmental philanthropy in Brazil since 2005. Our mission is to generate positive impact on very diverse territories, investing in the lives of those who care for them, and establishing connections between communities and organizations.

To this end, we developed a powerful support network for small civil society initiatives — a network that mobilizes funds, provides support and strengthens capacities, thus ensuring increasing autonomy for groups spread all over South America. We believe change begins by listening, and we listen to the real protagonists of every cause we embrace: those whose lives are directly affected by any change in their territories.

We are partners of philanthropic organizations that want to support grassroots communities but find it hard to reach those groups directly. We are experienced in making sure that philanthropic funds will reach the community groups. For this, we have developed a supporting and monitoring methodology that takes into account the dynamics of the territories.

What guides us

Listening: our ears are always attentive and our doors open to receive people. For us, this is always the first step in any transformation. Listening to the demands of groups in need of support, understanding what can be done, and then helping them. Listening to feedbacks, understanding what has worked out and what has not, adjusting to the circumstances, and always improving. Whenever possible, we also seek to collect this type of feedback within our own team, where there is no power hierarchy, only different opinions and a great common goal.

Respect: there is no listening to people without respect. We assume everyone has a valuable viewpoint and an in-depth understanding of his/her own reality. We respect differences among cultures, regions, and biomes in order to maximize the impact of our support. We valorize and stimulate the protagonist place of each individual in the socio-environmental transformational process, as we believe that true change comes from the rank and file.

Trust: we trust the working capacity of each individual and each small group we support. We understand Casa Fund as a transitional space, not as a centralizing unit. We are a safe haven, we comfort the pain and uncertainties, ensuring the means to solutions, maximizing actions and opening pathways, but we are not the ones to carry out the projects.

Union: The sentence “union is strength” may sound like a cliché, but it is a motto for us. We aggregate and mobilize. The more people share our dreams of transformation, the greater will be our collective power.

Connection and collaboration: we exist to establish connections and promote collaboration. This does not mean we have to be always present or directly involved in all actions. For us, promoting joint work between two or more transformational agents is already super powerful! This way we manage to multiply our actions and actually have a significant impact on the world.

Resound Research for Reproductive Health is a research collaborative focused on emerging issues in reproductive health & policy.

We lean into our longstanding relationships in Texas and beyond, leveraging our expertise in local and regional contexts.

Our collaborative includes social scientists, healthcare providers, legal scholars, and policy experts. We work with community organizations and other partners to advance a shared vision of equitable reproductive health policies for people in all communities.

We conduct original research and analyze existing data to create meaningful results. Using our findings, stakeholders can implement deliberate strategies to

·         remove barriers to abortion care, and

·         advance evidence-based, person-centered policy.

Resound Research for Reproductive Health

ESRI provides comprehensive, free preschool for thousands of children in Ethiopia and an  income generation program for Mothers.


*ESRI is a high quality, comprehensive, preschool program for disadvantaged Ethiopian children which gives them the tools to succeed at school.*  The *ESRI Mothers Empowerment Program provides vocational training for selected mothers and helps them establish businesses. The cost to support each mother is $350.*                                                                                                                   In addition to a full classroom cognitive learning program, ESRI's comprehensive program includes continuing teacher education, evaluation of children's progress, parenting education, social services, and access to physical and behavioral health services for the children and families..
Since inception in 2007 ESRI has opened 113 pre-schools in 8 Regions throughout Ethiopia including rural areas   Over 70,000 students have benefited from an ESRI preschool education. ESRI partners with the Regional Boards of Education to implement the program. The ESRI program includes a 3-year curriculum, intensive teacher training and rigorous quality control. Behavioral management and health screening with referrals as needed and a parenting education program are also part of the ESRI comprehensive program. ESRI has trained over 2,500 preschool teachers and primary caregivers of children.
Ethiopian children enter first grade at age 7, unprepared to learn. Many fall behind quickly, lose interest, and by the end of the first grade 25% have dropped out of school. Over 50% drop out by the end of fourth grade. The data indicates that the children who drop out are the children who fall behind.
The Mother’s Empowerment Program is an integral and vital part of ESRI’s Comprehensive program. Selected Mothers in each of the 8 Regions attend training in their chosen fields. When the mothers complete their training, they receive materials so they can set up businesses. Past business includes commercial poultry, tailoring, injera baking and restaurants.
ESRI  arranges mentoring for the mothers as they establish their chosen business.
Mothers who have participated in this ESRI program report the impact on their lives includes decreased stress and increased self-esteem for themselves and better nutrition, improved housing, and a path out of poverty and a sense of hope for the future for the entire family.
ESRI’s expansion into the Regions of Ethiopia requires more preschool teachers. in the regions. To address this issue and to ensure the quality of preschool teachers for the future, ESRI has partnered with two universities in Ethiopia to develop new 3-year college training program for pre-school teachers.   This program is currently offered in 2 Universities in 2 Regions of Ethiopia.  As this program expands to additional universities, it will improve the quality of preschool education throughout the Country.
ESRI has made a positive impact over the last 17 years by introducing the concept of free access pre-school education to all of Ethiopia.

The Alliance for Diplomacy and Justice (a 501c3 organization) represents a vision for reimagining United States foreign policy that prioritizes human rights. Advancing human rights in U.S. foreign policy is good for the world and good for Americans.

In January 2025, eight former Ambassadors, Special Representatives, and Special Envoys with human rights portfolios at the State Department founded The Alliance for Diplomacy and Justice. Each co-founder and principal has long been a leader in their areas of expertise, including: racial justice, workers’ rights, atrocities prevention and response, support for trafficking victims, youth empowerment, women’s rights, Afghanistan, and LGBTQI+ rights. We use our insider expertise to decipher foreign policy developments in the U.S. for civil society, academia, governments, and multilateral institutions in the U.S. and around the world and inspire others to fill the void the U.S. left behind. 

The U.S. has never been perfect, but our national ideals are noble and our foreign policy has traditionally incorporated bipartisan commitments to human rights, democracy, and global justice. Today, the U.S. is walking away from those long-standing commitments. The Alliance is bridging the gap between domestic and foreign policy by demonstrating how the dismantling of the policies, funding, and infrastructure of U.S. human rights investments globally impact the daily lives of all Americans. Supporting human rights in U.S. foreign policy translates into stronger national security, a more robust economy, a healthier country, and a country that is not merely feared but respected and valued globally.  

The Alliance fills a crucial gap by serving as:

Wedu supports women leaders in Asia through mentorship, leadership development, and financial support. 

**Wedu** is a not-for-profit social enterprise on a mission to nurture the next generation of women leaders in Asia. Founded in 2012, Wedu was born out of a desire to address the vast gender leadership gap that persists globally—and is especially stark in Asia, where it is projected to take 189 years to reach full gender parity, compared to the global average of 131 years. Wedu envisions "a world where half of all leaders are women," and works toward this by removing barriers to leadership and enabling women to rise through access to community, capital, and capability.

**HISTORY AND MISSION**

Wedu began with a fundamental insight: that the barriers to women’s leadership are not solely external, but deeply internalized, often rooted in cultural, familial, and social expectations. Over more than a decade, Wedu has developed a community-centered model that supports women at various stages of their leadership journeys—whether they are just discovering their potential or advancing complex career or civic goals.

Wedu’s consolidated mission is to empower women leaders through:

**PROGRAMMES**

Wedu’s approach is both high-touch and scalable, combining personalized mentorship with technology-enabled leadership learning.

**Global Mentorship Programme**

This flagship program has supported over 1,500 women leaders (Rising Stars) with guidance from more than 1,700 mentors across the world. These mentorships focus on self-awareness, goal setting, network expansion, and resilience. Since inception, Wedu has facilitated over 90,000 hours of mentorship and more than 2,400 mentorship matches. As of 2024, 76% of participants say they attribute the successes on their leadership journey to the support they received from Wedu​.

**Introduction to Leadership (ITL) Course**

Wedu’s self-paced ITL course strengthens self-awareness, goal clarity, and agency—particularly among women who face structural and cultural barriers to leadership. Informed by over a decade of programming and global research, the course is contextualized for Asian women and integrates self-reflection, identity formation, and leadership development. By 2025, Wedu aims to reach 25,000 women with multilingual and multimodal versions of this course, scaling up to one million women by 2030 in partnership with The Agency Fund​.

**Income Sharing Agreement (ISA) Programme**

Through its innovative Income Sharing Agreement (ISA) model, Wedu enables women to finance their university education and leadership development without upfront costs. This model aligns repayment with income, ensuring financial flexibility and minimizing risk for the individual. As of 2024, Wedu brought this ISA program fully in-house, increasing operational efficiency and sustainability​

**Women’s Leadership Academy (WLA)**

Wedu has been a key partner in regional programs like the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) Women’s Leadership Academy. Through mentorship and community-building, this initiative fosters strategic leadership among emerging changemakers across ASEAN.

**IMPACT AND REACH**

Wedu’s programs have demonstrated measurable impact:

- 75% of mentees report an increased sense of self-belief and confidence in expanding their leadership networks.
- Participants have achieved key milestones including career promotions, launching social ventures, and civic engagement.
- Wedu’s community spans over 30 countries, with a growing digital ecosystem and partnerships across the education, tech, and development sectors.
- Wedu aligns its impact with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG 4 (Quality Education), and SDG 5 (Gender Equality), where the highest concentration of community engagement and initiatives are represented.

**ORGANIZATIONAL GROWTH AND FUTURE PLANS**

In 2022, Wedu commissioned Bain & Company to conduct a Geographic Expansion Study, assessing market attractiveness and Wedu’s ability to succeed across prospective countries. Based on this analysis, priority countries for expansion—where both factors ranked high—include India, Bangladesh, the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Thailand. Cambodia, Myanmar, and Nepal were identified for selective expansion. Wedu is now acting on these recommendations by doubling down on our focus in South and Southeast Asia.

In response to major social, political, and economic shifts across South and Southeast Asia, Wedu has identified three concurrent crises affecting women leaders in the region: the Climate Crisis, the Care Economy, and persistent barriers to Economic Empowerment. To ensure our programmes remain relevant and responsive, our External Strategic Priorities for 2025–2027 are focused on directly addressing these challenges. By 2027, we aim to enable 1,000 women leaders to drive climate-resilient solutions; shift how society and women leaders view unpaid care work, recognizing it as a critical factor in advancing women’s leadership; and enhance the economic empowerment of 1,000 women leaders, particularly those leading Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), through capacity-building, education financing, strategic partnerships, and community support.

Wedu will continue to challenge both structural exclusions and internalized limitations faced by women. By integrating self-reflective leadership learning with long-term community and capital support, Wedu aims not just to close the gender gap—but to redefine leadership itself.

Hammerstone School empowers women and gender minorities through craft trades education. 

Since 2013 Hammerstone School has been fostering self-reliance through an introduction to building skills in a space absent of preconceptions about what we may or may not know or may or may not be capable of.

By creating learning environments specifically for women and gender minorities, we offer students a place to explore their capabilities free from judgment or outdated assumptions. From our very first class, this intentional space has received overwhelmingly positive feedback for its impact and approach.

The Rivanna Area Queer Center provides a safe refuge for all LGBTQIA+ people 
in Charlottesville and the surrounding counties.

LGBTQIA+ people need spaces of our own where we can take refuge, build resilient communities, and organize for our collective liberation. RAQC provides a safe and loving home for the queer community in Charlottesville and the surrounding counties. Programming at RAQC addresses multiple areas of need: support groups, peer counseling, and on-site mental health professionals contribute to the emotional wellbeing of our community. Classes and workshops on topics as diverse as screen printing, foraging, and self defense address our physical and creative needs. Social events like mixers, parties, and performances ensure that our region’s vibrant queer culture continues to flourish. In addition to our own programming, RAQC also serves as a safe and accessible space where all local queer organizations and individuals can host their own events.

We curate space for feminists across sectors to advance people, peace and planet-centered approaches to foreign policy.

At the Feminist Foreign Policy Collaborative, we know it is possible to achieve global equality, sustainability and peace. The Collaborative is a unique space for people working inside and outside of government to convene, research and advance feminist approaches to foreign policy. Operating as a secretariat, we support two coalitions: the Global Partner Network for Feminist Foreign Policy and the Coalition for a Feminist Foreign Policy in the United States. The Global Partner Network is an informal body of more than 100 organizations, governments and individuals working on feminist foreign policy around the world; the U.S. Coalition unites more than 80 organizations advancing a more feminist foreign policy in the United States.

Feminist Foreign Policy Collaborative

Since 1986, El Arca has been working to make the rights of children/adolescents effective in order to build an equitable society.

El Arca was founded in 1986 with the creation of a home for children and adolescents who lived on the streets. The institution eventually had three houses in operation and a program to support families. Thanks to this successful experience, more than three hundred boys and girls left the streets as a way of life. Many of them managed to return to their families of origin, others were housed in foster families and a large number grew up and achieved their independence accompanied by the institution. The project was sustained for twenty-five years.

In 2000, with the support of Arcor and Unicef, El Arca began to develop a project to build citizenship in Cuartel V, Moreno. The project is aimed at the population of girls, boys and adolescents in zone 2, which covers five neighborhoods and a population of approximately five thousand minors under 18 years of age. The project initially aimed to contribute to the full exercise of rights of children and adolescents, and worked in four dimensions: the social and educational dimension where the key word was inclusion, the political dimension where the key word was participation, the cultural dimension, and the key word was expression, and the legal dimension where the key word was enforceability. This project was born in the midst of a social, political and economic crisis in our country and in one of the poorest municipalities in the Buenos Aires metropolitan area. Its basis is the successful experience acquired in homes where the central dynamic was the participation of the children and adolescents housed there.

The citizenship building project was transformed and adapted to the political, economic and social changes of the province and the municipality. In 2003 we signed an agreement with the Comparte Foundation, an NGO from Barcelona, ​​which supported our project until 2023, when it transferred its collaborative actions with Latin America to the organization EDUCO, which continues to support our cause to this day. This alliance allowed us to grow in the territory and sustain the project over time, reaping important achievements such as having presented two collective appeals with the active participation of children, adolescents and grassroots organizations. The first was to demand and achieve that the government of the province of Buenos Aires carry out a 1km asphalt road from route 25 to the El Vergel Cuartel V neighborhood and the construction and equipment of a health center.

La alianza con primero con Comparte y luego con Educo, también nos permite sostener un equipo de trabajo que año tras año monitorea la  escolaridad de 1000 niños y niñas en escuelas primarias públicas para poder acompañar sus trayectorias y apuntalarlas en caso que sea necesario. Este programa logró desarrollar acciones de participación de niños, niñas y adolescentes en el ámbito institucional. En tres escuelas primarias públicas con grandes déficits estructurales y mucha sobrepoblación, generando allí asambleas de aula, delegados y espacios de reflexión  colectiva. Gracias a esas acciones se lograron mejoras en los patios de las escuelas y disminución de la violencia entre pares en las aulas y en los recreos.

The program also managed to hold eight annual forums where approximately three hundred children and adolescents participated in each event and made proposals to improve their neighborhoods that were sometimes heard by local authorities. These forums were held in Cuartel V, and in 2022, the first Forum with the participation of children and young people from all over Moreno was held together with the Local Council.

From 2005 to 2015, with the support of Arcor, we coordinated RedOnda, a network of 25 organizations from 15 provinces, developing actions of leading participation and educational inclusion at the institutional and community level with a total of 40,000 children and adolescents. In 2014, in Mendoza, we held a national congress on the protagonism of children and adolescents with the participation of more than 500 boys and girls from 15 provinces. Between 2012 and 2014, we conducted training sessions on the participation of children and adolescents for municipal teams of children from various towns in Córdoba, Tucumán and Catamarca, convened by the Arcor Foundation. In 2014, within the framework of the strategic plan for the city of Arroyito, we conducted a survey of 600 children and adolescents in the city and supported the process of creating the City Council for Children.

In November 2015, HBO Latin America premiered Sembradores de Optimismo, an initiative dedicated to disseminating the work of organizations working on innovative educational projects in countries in the region. El Arca was chosen to represent our country.

Our citizenship-building project continues to be developed in Cuartel V, Moreno (Buenos Aires Province) and focuses on two fundamental pillars: the right to participation of boys and girls, and educational inclusion, placing special emphasis on gender equality and the eradication of any type of violence against girls and women.

Education Axis

In a context where the lack of school infrastructure is a central problem, we work with children, adolescents and their families so that no one is left out of school.

The Ark has promoted projects in schools and neighborhoods that seek to strengthen collective processes, improve educational processes, as well as address educational issues from a rights perspective that is inherent to all our work and through the leading participation of boys and girls.

We accompany the educational paths of approximately 1,000 children and adolescents each year. This may involve direct assistance in some situations, the management of school materials of different kinds (furniture, teaching materials, etc.), as well as the organization of demands regarding difficulties that affect the educational inclusion of boys and girls (transportation, access, building deficiencies, lack of educational establishments, etc.). All these actions are developed taking into account the agreements that can be established between the different actors in the community (school, municipality, community centers, children's council, etc.)

Our main actions in this area are: a mixed-gender soccer school in which 100 boys and girls participate, a traveling play center that travels through the neighborhoods promoting the right to play, a literacy program for primary and secondary school children, monitoring the educational path of 1,000 boys and girls, meeting points at the entrance of schools where we provide advice on rights, education, and we lend books and games. We also coordinate our work with schools to detect difficulties and situations that require support.

Participation axis

Since its origins, El Arca has worked with girls, boys and adolescents in projects that enable their individual and collective ideas, their voices and decisions. The initiatives carried out under this orientation have the particularity of seeking to encourage the participation of boys and girls in the organization and planning of tasks in different areas in order to include their considerations in the educational, recreational and sports projects of the neighborhood and to be taken into account in the preparation of public policies directed at children and adolescents.

El Arca has developed many experiences of participation in school institutions and at the community level. In addition to currently holding Councils of boys and girls in different parts of the neighborhood, it has organized eight Forums through which more than a thousand boys and girls have participated. This experience has provided us with a large number of methodological tools that we seek to share and enrich with the institutions of the neighborhood. In the last two years, the project includes joint initiatives with the municipal children's department and the Local Council to promote citizen participation throughout the municipality.

Our main actions in this area are: classroom councils in primary schools where boys and girls learn to resolve conflicts through words, support for the formation of student centres in secondary schools and territorial councils where boys, girls and educators meet every week to collectively think of ideas to improve their neighbourhood, which are then expressed and taken into account by the community and local authorities.

LadyAgri Impact Investment Hub ASBL 

A community-supported independent library & artist workshop of printed material, fiscally sponsored by Intersection for the Arts.

The Prelinger Library in San Francisco offers thousands of historical maps, zines, documents, books and other materials, all of which are available for artists to reference or reuse. Its collections serve activists, writers, musicians, composers, poets, novelists, journalists, and historians. The Library was established in 2004 and has served over ten thousand reserach visits. Its collections have supported the production of artists talks series, films, novels as well as open-ended explorations by people working across all media types. As a 100% community-supported project, the Library s free to pursue equity and justice, abolition and libration, and to serve the community as a trans- and queer-safe space and infoshop for survival and resistance. The Library puts hospitality first and offers sparkling water or tea to every visitor.

The collections also hold government-produced documents from eras when artists and writers were widely employed in their production, offering art and literature in unexpected places as well as roadmaps toward civil societies. With stacks materials ranging from eighteenth century documents to works produced this week, the room serves as a slip in spacetime within which a couple hundred years of human experience and experiments can be browsed. Library hosts represent a range of subject-matter expertises including public transportation, radio science, zine making, natural history, library science, book arts, moving image history and production, and nonfiction writing.

Room to Read’s tried-and-true program builds girls’ skills while helping entire communities understand and support gender equality education. By providing life skills lessons, one-on-one and group mentoring, family and community engagement, inspiring multimedia, and more for the girls who need it the most, Room to Read is contributing to meaningful generational change.  

By the end of 2027, we aim to:

**AHADI Foundation – Empowering Women with Disabilities Through Leadership**

Founded in 2023 by Deza Nguembock—a disabled woman, social entrepreneur, and changemaker originally from Cameroon and now based in France—the AHADI Foundation is committed to transforming the leadership landscape for women with disabilities around the world.

Born from Deza’s lived experience of facing ableism, racism, and sexism, AHADI envisions a world where women with disabilities are seen, heard, and empowered to lead. Our mission: to break the cycle of invisibility by equipping 1,000 women with disabilities to rise as leaders and to build a global network of 20,000 emerging changemakers by 2030, in alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

🔍 Why This Matters

Women with disabilities face *systemic, compounded barriers* every day:

- **2 to 3 times** more likely to experience violence than non-disabled women
- **3 times** more likely to be illiterate than non-disabled men
- **2 times** more likely to be unemployed
- Almost invisible in decision-making roles—only **2.3%** held positions as legislators, senior executives, or managers in 19 countries (UN Women, 2017)

They are *routinely excluded* from economic and political life due to overlapping gender and disability discrimination. At AHADI, we are actively changing this—through leadership training, advocacy, visibility campaigns, and a strong, global sisterhood.

**💼 Leadership Program**
A 10-month hybrid initiative combining 4 months of intensive training with 6 months of personalized coaching. It empowers established women leaders with disabilities to lead advocacy efforts, claim media space, and mentor the next generation.

**🤝 Community Program**
Guides women at the start of their leadership journey by offering personal development tools, well-being sessions, and inspiring encounters—co-facilitated by alumnae of the Leadership Program.

**🎨 AHADI Arts & Culture**
Through immersive art installations and exhibitions, we challenge stereotypes and amplify the voices and visibility of women with disabilities.

**📊 AHADI Data & Research**
We collect and share key data to inform public policies and measure impact. Our upcoming **2030 Observatory** will track government commitments to four key articles of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

✨ Key achievements

- **March 2024**: Launched our first pan-European study on the visibility of people with disabilities in social, professional, media, and political spheres.
- **2024–2025**: Our **leadership pilot program** launched in France and expanded to Africa. To date, **77 remarkable women from 15 countries** have joined the movement.
- **March 2025**: Launched **"Les Objets"**, our first global awareness campaign—aired *in prime time* on CNN in North America and EMEA. Coming soon on France Télévisions and in **500+ cinemas** across France.
- **2025 (in progress)**: Our first art installation, *Aparté. Confidences. Liberté*, explores the intersection of perception, desire, and societal imagination surrounding disabled women.

AHADI Foundation

We are a coalition of faith leaders, people of faith, and faith institutions advancing inclusion of LGBTQ+ people in Uganda. 

The Universal Coalition of Affirming Africans Uganda (UCAA-UG) is a coalition of faith leaders, people of faith, and faith-based institutions working to advance human rights and inclusion of marginalised communities in Uganda, particularly LGBTQ+ individuals, by leveraging the power of faith. Uganda is a deeply religious country, with over 95% of the population affiliated with a faith tradition, according to the 2024 population census. Despite this, LGBTQ+ people continue to face widespread discrimination, often justified through religious rhetoric. 

UCAA-UG seeks to address this by challenging faith-based stigma and promoting inclusive spiritual leadership. Our programs include dialogue sessions with faith leaders on issues related to same-sex relationships, supporting families in reconciling with their LGBTQ+ members, helping LGBTQ+ individuals reconcile their faith and sexuality, awareness campaigns, and providing socio-economic support for LGBTQ+ people who are displaced due to their identity.
