🐠 Save 700+ Marine Animals from Trafficking

On April 26, 2026, 709 marine animals trafficked illegally from Kenya were intercepted at an airport in Argentina. After days in transit and delays in customs, they arrived in critical condition — weak, stressed, and at high risk of dying.

Fundación Temaikén, the only organization in Argentina equipped to care for marine wildlife at this scale, was called in to respond.

Our team acted immediately. Within hours, we mobilized emergency rescue operations, transported the animals, and began life-saving care. Thanks to this rapid response, 80% survived the initial intake.

But the crisis is not over.

These animals — including reef fish, corals, and invertebrates — require constant care, specialized life-support systems, and precise water quality conditions to survive. Right now, our facilities are operating beyond capacity.

💧 Why your support matters

Water quality is everything for marine life. Even small imbalances can be fatal.

Your donation will help us:

* Provide critical water filtration and life-support systems

* Maintain stable, safe conditions for hundreds of animals

* Support specialized veterinary and animal care teams

* Prevent further deaths during the most critical recovery period

🌎 A larger fight against wildlife trafficking

This rescue is part of a growing global crisis. Illegal wildlife trade is pushing countless species toward collapse.

By supporting this project, you are not only helping save these animals — you are strengthening our ability to respond to future rescues and fight wildlife trafficking.

❤️ Every contribution counts

Your support today can mean survival for hundreds of animals.

Help us give them a second chance.
