We have decided as Team Kwak to support gender equality in Bosnia and are looking for your support. Allow us to explain :
What are we doing ? We decided to use our holidays to discover the diverse and fascinating Balkan region, on a 2-week map-reading road-trip (21/08-03/09) leaving from Prague in a small and rusty 4x4-car. But we wish to give more meaning to this adventure by supporting a cause that deserves it.
Who are we ? Team Kwak is composed of Filip Schlosser, a Belgo-czech, loving husband and father, IT-specialist and airplane pilot, and Adrien Vernimmen, Belgian diplomat, also happily married :) ;)
Who do we support ? The CURE Foundation is an activist organisation located in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina) that improves the social situation of women and girls thanks to educational, cultural and research programs. For example, they’ve set up workshops to identify gender-based violence and help people talk about it, create safe places for young people, or bolster women’s participation in politics. They are included in different networks and collaborate with partners such as UN agencies or other countries.
Our aim ? We wish to collect donations that will be given for a 100% to the foundation. This can be done through this following platform.
But we also aim to arrive safe and well in Sarajevo and meet the people from the organisation.
What is there in it for you ? The car is ready to be full of promotional stickers you would provide us and we will be happy to get a photo of your logo with the foundation at our arrival in Sarajevo. We welcome your preferred suggestions as well.
We thank you for your consideration and we hope you’ll support the cause. Every bit helps !
