For 46 years, the Rossini Opera Festival has been staging every opera by the renowned composer Gioachino Rossini, including lost masterpieces. This dedication provides meaningful cultural moments and unforgettable experiences for audiences who travel to Pesaro from all over the world.
It all starts with the incredible effort of our team. Every new production takes the stage thanks to months of planning and the expertise of our artisans, researchers, electricians, prop masters, and costume makers working behind the scenes.
Yet our dedication extends beyond the stage. We are committed to making opera accessible and securing its future through year-round projects:
- Crescendo per Rossini, which brings music education into schools to engage children of every age and people from difficult backgrounds into the magic of Rossini’s opera.
- The Accademia Rossiniana "Alberto Zedda", which offers training in Rossini’s bel canto and supports the next generation of international opera talents.
