Engaruka Healthy Community Organization is constructing a well equipped ultra modern facility that will serve mothers and children in rural Tanzania with the much needed quality primary health care for a healthier Tanzanian future. Many mothers in Engaruka and its surrounding villages can barely access primary maternal health care due to inadequate health facilities in the area. They are forced to travel for more than 60 miles on treacherous terrain whenever labor or emergency strikes which at times turn fatal for both the mothers and the unborn babies. The ultra modern hospital being constructed by Engaruka Healthy community Organization will go a long way to save the lives of thousands of mothers and children not only through safe deliveries but also ensuring they access the needed prenatal services for mothers and infants.
