The Enterprise Development & Governance Facility (EDGF) is a community-based humanitarian organisation in Bamenda, Cameroon, fiscally hosted by Myriad USA Inc. (USA) and the Maecenata Foundation (Germany). Thousands of displaced young people have been forced to leave school because of conflict, leaving them vulnerable to poverty, exploitation, and unemployment. Your donation will sponsor a 12-month vocational skills programme at accredited training centres of tailoring, hairdressing, dressmaking, bike/motor repairs, welding and sheet metal works,ets, where displaced school dropouts gain practical skills in market demanded trades that lead to employment and self-reliance. EDGF complements this with close training supervision, entrepreneurship and small business start-up coaching, seed capital, and essential tools to help graduates establish sustainable livelihoods.
