Earth Law Center (ELC) is on a mission to give Nature a voice in the legal system. The way our laws treat rivers, oceans, and ecosystems — as commodities and industrial sinks — does not reflect what we know to be true: they are living entities with intrinsic value.

ELC is a global leader in Rights of Nature — the legal recognition that ecosystems deserve rights, not just protection. Active in 30+ countries, ELC works with governments and grassroots champions alike to turn that principle into law.

Elina recently helped ELC open its first office in London, which will be the base for campaigns in the UK and Europe. Donations will support legal rights for Lough Neagh in Northern Ireland, the Una River in Bosnia & Herzegovina (and Croatia), and the Oslo Fjord in Norway, and rivers and marine ecosystems across the UK and Europe — alongside broader programs in ocean justice and 'Nature as a Board Member'.
