A Wheelchair for Amanda’s Dignity

Amanda is an 8-year-old girl living with cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and multiple health complications. Her mother, Francisca, is her full-time caregiver and does everything possible to ensure Amanda can attend her medical checkups and therapies at Teletón. However, they face a daily challenge: they don’t have a neurological wheelchair that allows Amanda to travel safely and comfortably. Each transfer is exhausting, painful, and risky for both of them.
Through this project, we aim to provide Amanda with a specialized neurological stroller, adapted to her posture and mobility needs. This equipment will allow her to move safely, attend her therapies regularly, and enjoy moments outside her home without fear or discomfort.
Your contribution will not only change Amanda’s daily life, it will also give her mother relief, hope, and peace of mind. Together, we can ensure that Amanda continues growing, learning, and smiling with the dignity and care every child deserves.
