Coronavirus or Covid-19 it has appeared from nowhere to change all of our lives and create an atmosphere of tension and fear. Based on the statistics, that could be over half the world self-isolating during the next 12 months! With virtually all events cancelled, schools, bars and restaurants closed for the foreseeable future, world markets crashing, and all developed economies are on the brink of meltdown, we can easily be emotionally disturbed, sad, anxious, depressed, all of which are natural and normal reactions to the changing and uncertain situation in which everyone finds themselves. The project's objective is to increase access to mental health through digital solutions. Due to social isolation and other factors, most people have very limited access to service, especially vulnerable and underserved people. For this reason, the project will mobilize digital solutions to overcome barriers of geography, lack of service, knowledge and cost. The consequences of traumatic events are not limited to those who are immediately exposed to the event, and can affect significant others in their environment, such as family, friends and carers. Research on intergenerational trauma transmission has highlighted how some parents convey psychological symptoms and personality traits to their children - heightened levels of suspicion, distrust and guilt, combined with denial or avoidance of vulnerability and loss.  We strongly believe that the healing of the wounds of trauma is important.  The Coalition for Work with Psychotrauma & Peace (NL) works with the psychological issues of people experiencing trauma. Now more than 25 years after starting working with refugees and other victims of war, I would like to increase the work of CWWPP to the other parts of our world.
