Ten years ago, we sequestered ourselves in a little office and plastered hundreds of post-it notes all over the wall and windows, trying to map this dang field of ours. We came up with our core taxonomy by looking at existing things only — no top-down worldview of what we thought the field should be.
From those humble spreadsheet-of-apps beginnings to today's overflowing global resource, I’m proud to have kept this free resource going for so long, and grateful to everyone who’s helped improved it along the way.
It’s been a labor of love, for sure, but we’ve created something genuinely useful. (Sorry for all the open tabs 😳).
