Where Art Meets Action: Support Wastepickers & Cleaner Cities

This initiative is part of a photography exhibition at the India Habitat Centre (May 8–9) - Time 11 AM to 7 PM, led by Vinod Thomas. Every artwork you purchase or contribution you make supports the work of Chintan Environmental Research and Action Group—an organization working to improve the lives of wastepickers and build more sustainable, inclusive cities.

Behind every clean city are wastepickers—handling what we discard, often without recognition, safety, or fair income.

Through your support, we are working to:

  • Improve livelihoods and dignity of wastepickers
  • Strengthen recycling and circular economy systems
  • Reduce pollution and landfill waste
  • Build cleaner and more inclusive cities

Chintan processes over 11+ tons of waste daily and works closely with communities, institutions, and recyclers to create lasting impact. If this exhibition made you pause—let it also move you to act.

Purchase a frame or make a contribution. Support wastepickers. Build cleaner cities.
