According to 2022 UNICEF Report close to 50% of Zimbabwean youth were out of school. This was worsened by economic hardships, natural disasters and covid-19. We are responding by providing catch up lessons to children who either failed to start school by 8 years or dropped out of school before completing primary education. When they catch up, we reintegrate them into formal schools. We also assist out of school young people between the ages of 13 and 18 years who failed to complete secondary school. We are making efforts to close the gap of a possible lost generation if these children do not attend school. We might lose a lot of economic potential for the future if we ignore children out of school. The funds will benefit 200 children out of school through providing access to second chance education lessons. The funds will be used to buy stationery, reading books, pay volunteer teacher stipends, buy food, uniforms, furniture, build classrooms and pay school fees for those reintegrated into formal schools. USD1 is enough to buy 10 pens, USD20 can buy a pair of shoes, USD20 is enough to buy stationery for a primary school child for a whole year, US30 is enough to keep a child in school for a term, US100 is enough to keep a child in school for a year.
