Care Help Of Sulphur

Care Help of Sulphur, Inc. was organized in January 1984 by people in our area who saw a need for a charitable organization to provide assistance to people in emergency situations. In March 1984, we were incorporated, named our first Board of Directors and elected officers. We opened our doors shortly thereafter and began serving the needs of families and individuals. In addition to the area residents, we assist people passing through who are in emergency situation and fire victims. The organization has continued to grow throughout the years and we have had the opportunity to help thousands of people who needed temporary, emergency assistance. We are very thankful for the tremendous support received from our community.

Approximately 75% of our income is from our thrift store.
We receive no federal or state funding.
We rely on funds received through contributions from churches, individuals, organizations, and businesses.
Contributions are tax deductible.
We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.
Care Help of Sulphur asks you to join us to help our local residents as a Community Mission whose needs are year round. We are in need of monetary donations and donations of new or gently used items to be sold in our Thrift Store. Care Help also uses your donated items through our Social Services Department to help those who are in need of clothes, shoes, furniture, beds, and household items after a fire, hurricane, or starting over. It takes a community of givers working together to offer someone in need a helping hand. We thank you greatly for your support.
