Be Free Foundation

Be Free Foundation was created by women who have lived the realities of incarceration and reentry. We know firsthand that coming home often means facing trauma, housing instability, and isolation—without safe spaces to heal or people who truly understand. Today, Be Free supports women and femme-identifying people returning from incarceration through Freedom Circles, trauma-informed lived-experience mentoring, and connection to housing and reentry resources. Our work creates healing-centered community where women can process harm, rebuild trust, and begin stabilizing their lives. Donations directly support circle facilitation, one-on-one mentoring, and the community space that makes this work possible—helping women move from survival toward healing, connection, and leadership.
