Every Austin Animal Deserves to Come Home

I have a dog, two cats, and a rotating cast of opinions on all of them.

Willow has quietly made me more patient than I thought I could be. I fostered a dog through Austin Pets Alive in 2024, and that experience stayed with me. APA doesn't just find animals homes. They take the ones the system was ready to give up on — the sick ones, the scared ones, the ones who've been there too long — and they figure it out anyway.

They're why Austin is a no-kill city. Donations fund the medical care, the foster programs, and the people who don't give up on an animal just because it's hard.
