For more than 15 years, at Huchuy Yachaq we have been working tirelessly for the education and comprehensive development of children and teenegaers in the urban-peripheral areas of Cusco. We face enormous challenges, but the result in the lives of each of the users of the project is gratifying and inspires us to continue with our commitment.

Aware of the need to provide opportunities for more boys and girls, in recent years we have expanded our educational initiative to other peri-urban sectors that suffer from many socio-economic limitations. The reception by children, adolescents and the community has been very positive and motivating.

However, to continue with our mission of bringing education, smiles and hope for better futures, we need to have our own place. This will be a welcoming place where children will continue to learn, grow and explore their full potential. With your support, we will be able to build an adequate educational environment equipped with the necessary tools for the comprehensive development of children.

This space will be the home of a complete educational institution, where in principle we will offer preschool education, and we also seek to expand our work to formal primary education. In addition to the classrooms, we also plan to include multi-use modules for a library filled with inspiring books and a playroom filled with games and recreational activities. It will also be the space for vacation programs that will allow children to learn and have fun during school break periods.
