Amherst 4th of July Celebration Fund

Few traditions bring Amherst together quite like the Fourth of July. Each year, thousands of neighbors and visitors gather for an old-fashioned New England celebration featuring the parade through the Village, family activities on the Town Green, entertainment, and, of course, fireworks.

What makes the day particularly special is that the community helps make it happen. While the Town of Amherst provides a portion of the funding, the celebration depends on donations from local businesses, organizations, families, and individuals to cover the rest. The Amherst Community Foundation is proud to partner with the volunteer Amherst Fourth of July Committee to help raise and manage those funds.

Your tax-deductible gift helps keep this time-honored Amherst tradition going and ensures that families can continue coming together to celebrate our community and our country for years to come.
