Support Sudanese Refugees in Uganda: Urgent Food Basic Needs
American Aid (501(c)(3)), operating internationally as A A Relief. We are launching this emergency fundraiser to help Sudanese refugee families living in Kiryandongo Refugee Camp in Uganda.
Sudanese families who escaped war are now facing severe hunger and hardship in Kiryandongo Refugee Camp (Uganda). We’re raising funds to deliver food staples, clean water support, mattresses, and essential clothing—with transparent updates and proof of distribution.
Why we’re fundraising
Families who fled the war in Sudan arrived in Uganda with almost nothing. During our team’s visit and situation assessment, we saw heartbreaking conditions—parents struggling to find food, children lacking basic clothing, and families sleeping without proper bedding. Many are trying to survive day by day.
What your donation will provide
This fundraiser will support emergency distributions for Sudanese families, including:
- Food staples: rice, beans, posho (maize flour), cooking oil, salt, and soap
- Clean water support: safe water access assistance and basic water-related supplies (as needed on the ground)
- Mattresses & bedding: for families sleeping on the ground
- Essential clothing: basic items for children and adults
