The Alaska Dive Search, Rescue and Recovery Team (AK Dive Rescue) is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit public safety water rescue/dive search and recovery team, that exists to provide the Department of Public Safety (DPS) a statewide capability above and underneath the waters surface. The team is activated by the State Search and Rescue (SAR) Coordinator and is ready to deploy for recovery missions anywhere in Alaska usually within two hours of notification. In addition to the above the Alaska Dive Search, Rescue and Recovery Team is dedicated to preventing as many tragedies as possible through public education on boating and water safety. Your donations ensure that our volunteers can receive the required specialized training needed to preform these hazards missions. It also insures we can maintain our extensive rescue gear cache and equipment trailer that is required to preform these missions around the state. In order for us to continue our mission we need YOUR support so we can be there when you and your family, your friends, or other people are in need of help. Contributions can be made at our web site or through a variety of charitable giving programs. Please see our website for details. Thank you! Вижте повече
