Keep a Girl in School for a Year — $575 Changes Everything

In the communities we serve in Hyderabad, a girl's education is usually the first thing cut when money runs short. Not because families don't value it — because school fees, uniforms, and books compete with rent and food, and food wins. The girl stays home. Often she does not go back.
$575 covers one girl for a full academic year. That figure is not a round number we picked. It breaks down as $350 for education — school fees, uniforms, textbooks, and exam costs — and $225 for nutrition, because a girl who is hungry cannot learn even when she is seated in the classroom.
Aadarana Foundation USA Inc currently supports 200 girls through this program. This fundraiser is working toward 50 of them.
What your gift does, specifically:
- $575 — one girl, one full year, fees and meals covered
- $288 — one girl for half a year
- $144 — one term
- $48 — one month of school and daily nutrition for one girl
We are a U.S. 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN 37-2202641), run entirely by volunteers. There is no paid staff and no U.S. fundraising overhead. Programs are delivered in Hyderabad, Telangana through an FCRA-registered implementing partner, under the discretion and control of our board.
If you grew up somewhere where school was simply assumed, this is a chance to make it assumed for someone else.
