Aadarana

Aadarana is a registered nonprofit organization based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, committed to transforming the lives of orphaned, abandoned, and underprivileged children. Since its inception in 2003, Aadarana has been a safe haven for hundreds of vulnerable children, providing them with free shelter, education, nutrition, healthcare, and holistic care. Our aim is to help each child grow into a confident, responsible, and empowered individual capable of leading a dignified life.

To create a society where no child is left behind due to poverty, abandonment, or lack of support—where every child has access to shelter, education, and equal opportunities to thrive.

Our Mission:
To rescue, rehabilitate, and nurture orphaned and underprivileged children by providing them with comprehensive care, education, and emotional support in a structured and value-based environment.

What We Do

1. Shelter and Care

Aadarana operates a residential care center that offers a secure, family-like environment for children who have lost parental support or come from backgrounds of neglect, abuse, or extreme poverty. The home is designed to meet all basic needs including:
Clean, safe accommodation
Nutritious meals served daily
Clothing and personal hygiene essentials
Medical care, including regular health checkups and emergency support
Emotional support and counseling

2. Education through Amithabha Aadarana Vidyalaya:

Understanding that education is the foundation of empowerment, Aadarana runs its own school—Amithabha Aadarana Vidyalaya—recognized by the Government of Telangana. The school provides:

Free quality education from pre-primary to high school

Subjects aligned with the state curriculum, with additional focus on moral values, English, and life skills

Well-qualified teachers who are passionate about shaping young minds
Focus on discipline, punctuality, and holistic development
Special coaching and academic support for slow learners
Extracurricular activities, sports, and cultural programs
The school also accepts day scholars from poor families in nearby communities, extending its impact beyond residential children.

3. Holistic Development Programs: At Aadarana, we believe in nurturing the whole child. Beyond academic support, children are guided through:

4. Special Focus on Girls:

Aadarana ensures a safe and nurturing environment for girls, providing dedicated caretakers, wardens, and female staff to address gender-specific needs. The girls’ wing emphasizes education, hygiene, and confidence-building to empower them for a secure and independent future.

5. Support for Higher Education & Career Development

Older children who complete high school are supported for:
Intermediate studies (PUC)
Skill development courses
College education (with external support and scholarships)
Job placements and internships through partner organizations

Impact:
Over the last 20+ years, Aadarana has:

• Provided full care and education to over 1,000 children
• Currently supports 300+ children (boys and girls) at its residential campus
• Helped hundreds of children complete school and go on to college or gain employment
• Built a strong alumni base, with several children now self-reliant and supporting their families
• Earned trust and recognition from the local community, government agencies, and corporate partners

Aadarana is governed by a dedicated board under the Aadarana Society. It is managed by a team of compassionate educators, caretakers, wardens, and volunteers. The school and home are supported by:
