October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month! It is also the 30th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act. I have a family member who is mentally disabled who has been blessed with an inclusive employer in the manufacturing industry. The Northwest Center is a Seattle organization that promotes the growth, development and independence of people with disabilities through programs of therapy, education and work opportunity.
