As a donor and volunteer first and now a staff member at Feeding America, Kentucky's Heartland, I know first-hand how fiscally responsible and big-hearted this organization is. Because of the pandemic, many people are visiting food pantries and soup kitchens for the first time in their lives. It easily could have been my family that needed food to get through this difficult year! To all those families out there struggling to make ends meet, keep your chin up!
