BERKELEY HIGH SCHOOL ROBOTICS   FRC TEAMS 5419 & 5499 are engaged in critical STEM education in K-12.  These students  work alongside their peers who are equally enthusiastic about engineering & business operations, building problem solving skills & enhancing team spirit. Their highly laudable fund raising mission is dedicated to financial accessibility for all students. 

Berkelium 5419 is a student-led robotics team from Berkeley High School with 110+ students committed to making STEM education accessible to everyone. We design and build competition robots, mentor middle school students, and run free community robotics programs – all while **charging zero membership fees.**

Here's the problem: Attending competitions costs hundreds of dollars per student. Many families in our community can't afford that. So **we're raising $20,000 to provide full scholarships**, ensuring every student – regardless of financial situation –has the chance to compete, learn, and build memories with their team.

Our track record speaks for itself: **100% of our graduates attend four-year colleges, 90% pursue STEM degrees**, and 50% of our team members are from historically underrepresented groups in STEM.

Team 5419, otherwise known as Berkelium, is based at Berkeley High School in Berkeley, California. We’re open to anyone who wants to be involved in robotics!
 
Our mission is to give students the opportunity to explore STEM fields with no barriers, creating an inclusive space, diving into things like programming, design, engineering & more! Additionally, we also offer the chance to be involved in non-technical areas such as media and business. We encourage students to work on their leadership skills, teamwork, and ability to mentor others.
