I’m sponsoring Zig because I believe in what the team is building — and how they’re building it.

There’s a rare discipline in choosing not to rush. In prioritizing quality, long-term design, and taste over immediate adoption. The async I/O work is a perfect example of that patience.

I admire the ambition to improve core infrastructure like LLVM, and the pragmatic commitment to first-class C interop.

Zig has made low-level programming click for me in a new way. It strips away unnecessary abstraction while still making very complex systems approachable. I’ve learned more from writing Zig than from almost any other tool.

And honestly — it’s the language I enjoy writing the most.
