I gave because I want to help immobility in the world!

**Mobility is one of the most underappreciated human gifts.**

Most people move through the world without thinking twice. They enter homes, schools, restaurants, restrooms, and more without ever wondering if or how they can get there.

But for tens of millions of people around the world, mobility isn't a given. It’s a barrier. A source of isolation. Something that keeps them from opportunity, independence, and connection.

This is why I joined Mobility Worldwide in 2023. As I approach my 40th birthday on July 12th, I’m dedicating this milestone to a belief I’ve held for decades: *the human body is resilient and can overcome challenges that seem and feel insurmountable.* It is for this reason that I'll be running 13.1 miles in NYC on Saturday, July 12th. 

I believe everyone deserves the chance to move freely. People with disabilities should be seen not for what they lack, but for the potential they carry.

Since its inception in 1994, Mobility Worldwide has delivered more than 100,00 Mobility Carts to people around the world in more than 100 countries. We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential and should not be held back by a disability. 

Mobility Worldwide International supports a network of affiliates that manufacture Mobility Carts and source other mobility aids for distribution around the world. The organization gets these products in the hands of trusted non-profits on the ground, who have a deep understanding of their communities and the needs of those with disabilities. It is through this network that we are able to make a sustainable and significant impact around the globe.
