Join Jim to support National Immigration Law Center
A society that purports to be free cannot at the same time create a permanent underclass by law and create a shadow detention system to detain them, specifically outside of a criminal context, and openly skirting the Constitution. Immigrants are not a problem, they are simply members of the communities we live in, and share our common human values, but 150 years of racist laws can't be reversed in one go. And organizations that are dedicated to serve the most invisible of our society are the noblest of them all, one client at a time.
