Where do I begin! As I’m writing this Zapp dance floor is playing on my wife’s playlist. I learned everything I needed to know at Walker West thanks to Felix James and Wilburt Dougas! They brought me up showed me the real deal and changed my life forever! I am forever grateful for the real knowledge burnin thru charts every Saturday and then every Sunday! It formed my musical ethos and they showed me how to get around in tricky situations musically and also worldly! When I came to New York as a jazz trumpet player at Manhattan School of Music I was already ready to go thanks to that group. What I would give to go back to those moments. I traveled the world spreading the gospel and I hope I’ve done y’all proud! 50 or so countries, Dj’ing playing live sets but I always came back to the trumpet. My Dad loved you guys he was so happy to see the inspiration blossoming, what a time to be alive! I’ll stop by soon my mom is still kicking and my brother is doing great handling the Publishing we have shirts for you guys! And hats!
