Hospice & Palliative Care of the Piedmont is the area’s only non-profit hospice and palliative care organization for Greenwood, Laurens, Edgefield, Abbeville, McCormick, Newberry, and Saluda, we prioritize a community-first mindset.

Hospice & Palliative Care of the Piedmont was founded in 1981 by local medical professionals who saw a growing need for compassionate and affordable hospice and palliative care.

Fast-forward more than 45 years, our board of directors are still prominent local leaders, who put the needs of our region’s community members first. They have a thorough understanding of how to best serve our area, because they do life and business here, too.

It’s one of the many ways Care of the Piedmont stands apart from other for-profit hospice organizations in South Carolina.

And through the next forty-five years – and beyond – we promise to continue to prioritize the needs of our community above all else.
