Land of Lincoln Legal Aid

Land of Lincoln Legal Aid provides free civil legal services to low-income individuals and families across 65 counties in central and southern Illinois. Our mission is to provide high-quality legal assistance to those who cannot afford it, ensuring access to justice, protecting basic rights, and promoting stability in communities.

Each year, we help thousands of Illinoisans facing urgent legal issues related to housing, domestic violence, public benefits, consumer fraud, education, healthcare, and more. Our attorneys and staff work tirelessly to keep families safely housed, protect seniors from abuse, and support survivors of violence.
