When Justin asked if he was going to die, I promised him  I would do everything I could to make sure that didn’t happen and to keep fighting to find a cure no matter how long it took. 

Eleven years later,  I am doing what I can to help find a cure…

13forever was founded after we lost our 13 year old son to a Glioblastoma, a highly aggressive brain cancer rarely found in kids.

justin was a bright funny kid who just started Jr High when he developed debilitating headaches. Upon further test, it was discovered he had a tumor on his brain. Several surgeries followed, and it was determined the tumor was a glioblastoma  grade 4. September 2013, we were accepted into  St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, where Justin received 31 radiation treatments and chemo. The cancer was winning… we lost Justin in August of 2014.

We started 13forever to keep Justin memory alive and bring awareness to childhood cancer.
