I use and love the LifeStraw water filtration pitcher, and I am so thankful that they are organizing support for these struggling areas in WV that have toxic water after their poorly-built water supply systems were effectively abandoned…it’s hard to believe that this is happening in America 😢. I have shared this on my social media pages in hopes of increasing support for this important effort.

The passion from the founder convinced me to support. In her words, "I am passionate about families getting an education. We have 21 students registering for school this year. The students are from 9 families, two villages and range in age from pre-school to University. We have 14 girls and 7 boys. We have 2 young men, who are my community representatives in Kenya, who have graduated from university and one young man who has graduated from high school and now has his sights set on being a Veterinarian. I started in 2017 with one University student and his siblings, 3 girls and one boy, who were in Primary and Secondary school at the time. It has been quite a journey in the past 4 years."
