This is a much needed program. It brings hope and healing to an often unseen population. When I worked in juvenile corrections I saw the need for support for the youth and prayed for programs to help them with the pain and traumas they had experienced. This program is lifechanging or should I say transformative...

 In times like these it is even more important to pull together for the common good. We must all step up our game to make up for the lost Federal support. Hunger should not be a political issue.

We are impressed by the focus of veteran healing through "dirt work"; it certainly helps my mind and I'm not a veteran!  We support this organization, have been impressed by its growth and outreach to the broader community, and sincerely hope that Growing Veterans continues long into the future!

The Transformative Justice Center provides services to the incarcerated and formerly incarcerated. 

Our mission is to advocate for transformative justice, emphasizing empathy and understanding as we work with those who have been incarcerated. We aim to break down the barriers of social stigma, creating a platform for personal growth and change. At the Transformative Justice Center, and our flagship prison program - Empathy in Action, we see past the person’s history and focus on their potential. By providing crucial support and resources, we aspire to drastically reduce recidivism and help individuals reclaim their lives. At its core, transformative justice works to transform relationships, institutions and systems historically founded in oppression, marginalization, and violence into ones grounded in restoration, respect, and responsibility.

We believe that everyone deserves a chance to be seen, heard, and understood regardless of background, race, class, socio-economic status, political or/and religious views. We know that most if not all people in prison come from painful, traumatic backgrounds, from victims to victimizers. We work to transform prison spaces into places focused on higher education, healing, whole body wellness, accountability and respect. We see that within every human being there exists the possibility to grow, to change, and to transform with the right tools and interventions. We are committed to building bridges being the public and our incarcerated community in order to learn, understand and humanize those most impacted by familial and societal harms.

Since our inception, Pay Away has helped over 20,000 families nationally and military bases worldwide.

Making fishing dreams come true for individuals with life impacting challenges, metorship programs, and disaster relief efforts.  

On April 6, 2012, the fishing community lost a great angler, icon, and friend, Jose Wejebe, host of the immensely popular saltwater fishing television show, Spanish Fly. Through his show and his adventures, Jose shared his passion for fishing and a lifestyle that touched and inspired anglers around the world. At the same time, Jose encouraged conservation, leading his viewers by example to take better care of the environment they so enjoy.

Jose Wejebe never forgot his humble beginnings or those others that helped him find success. Throughout his life and career, Jose unselfishly donated his time, money and equipment to support countless charities including the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, The Marc House, Wounded Warriors, Big Brothers and Big Sisters and many others. The charitable work seen on his television series, “Spanish Fly”, documented only a small portion of his generosity. Behind the scenes, he quietly assisted with many more charities throughout the world. He did so out of compassion and kindness, and was humbled by those who expressed their appreciation.

In order to continue Jose’s passion for the marine environment, and dedication to support those who face life-impacting challenges, The Jose Wejebe Memorial Foundation was founded in April 2012. The Foundation will honor Jose’s legacy by continuing his charitable efforts.

The Foundation has worked with multiple organizations to refer individuals that can benefit from leaving reality at the dock, and live in the moment on the water. These include Make a Wish, the Outdoor Dream Foundation, the VA Hospital of Miami, and Wesley House as well as others.

Making fishing dreams come true has been our main focus to be bring some relief to those with life impacting challenges, circumstances over the past few years have led us to broaden our reach to meet other needs. We have assisted fishing communities after major hurricanes and supported local aid organizations during the height of the pandemic. We are also building our Legacy Mentorship Program.

We do this by gathering like-minded instructors who want to make a big impact for good by training and leveling up the skills of thousands of students at a time. This allows us to get to the end goal of secure computing systems much faster than approaches like paid training, certificates, or traditional colleges make possible. And at the same time

Harmony & Healing brings live music to patients via Zoom, lifting spirits & spreading joy in hospitals, hospices & rehab centers.

Harmony & Healing artists deliver **professional live musical performances via Zoom or in-person** for patients, their loved ones and caretakers wherever they may be in the world!

Harmony & Healing performances lift spirits and take people's minds off their challenges with music. Anyone who is invited, anywhere in the world can share in a Harmony & Healing “Virtual Visit” with the proper Zoom capabilities at the facility or in the private residence. We can even provide a recording of the event for posterity.

Harmony & Healing is *not* formal “music therapy”, but rather a soulful, connective journey into the most pleasant memories and associations of patient’s lives. Music lowers stress levels, brings about positive associations, speeds healing, and brings happiness to patient’s lives and the lives of their loved ones.

Facilities, patients and families are **never charged for these services**; we are entirely supported by corporate  donations, private donations and planned giving.

We provide free legal assistance to thousands of individuals and families in Arkansas' 31 northern counties through our six client walk-in offices. Our work helps secure safe housing, protect consumer rights, foster economic stability, and advocate for people escaping domestic violence. We are also home to the Arkansas Fair Housing Project, working to ensure everyone is afforded the protections guaranteed via the Fair Housing Act. Through our co-location with Arkansas Children's Hospital, we help families address the social determinants of health that impact their well-being. We exist to provide members of the special operations community(active/retire or family) free clinical mental health services. 

SOF Network aims to provide answers for two major gaps within the clinical mental healthcare of the SOF community: finding qualified licensed clinicians, and funding for their services. 

Our mission at SOF Network is two-fold: first, we aim to provide excellent clinical mental health care to members of the SOF community(active-duty/retired) and or their family members. Currently, we are the first and only directory of licensed clinical mental health clinicians who specialize in working with the SOF community. Our network is comprised of clinicians who have all been recommended and vetted by individuals within the SOF community. Our overall goal is to make sure each and every licensed provider has a strong cultural competency when it comes to the SOF community. 

Secondly, we aim to provide free services to the SOF member (or family member) by raising funds and collaborating with community partners in the SOF community with similar goals.

 Founded in 1994, the Remember Museum is one of the most interesting of its kind. It is housed in an old renovated barn and is comprised mainly of items abandoned by the American First Infantry Division soldiers who once enjoyed "R & R" at the Schmetz' s farm when Marcel was a young boy. The artifacts include personal items given by numerous WWII Veterans from various units. It is a museum with a human dimension, made great by its welcoming environment, its originality, its simplicity. The museum strives to serve as the testimony of our gratefulness towards all the G.I.s who, at the risk of their lives, gave us our freedom back. Because curators Marcel & Mathilde (M&M) are nearing retirement, the museum and its contents will be transferred to the King Baudouin Foundation and a board of directors will manage the future of this great endeavor, while keeping it warm and personal much like M&M themselves.
