WAKE is dedicated to empowering women and girls through technology, education, and collaboration. For more than 65 years, ITBA - Instituto Tecnólogico de Buenos Aires  has contributed to solving the challenges of humanity through a university education recognized for its excellence, the production of scientific knowledge and international collaboration, and outstanding levels of excellence among its graduates.

Thanks to the financial contribution of companies and individuals, scholarships are obtained so that young people  with talent, passion and determination, can study at ITBA.

About Food for His Children

Food for His Children (FFHC) is a Christian, faith-based nonprofit walking alongside families living in extreme poverty in rural Tanzania—equipping them with practical tools, dignifying relationships, and hope that lasts.

We believe poverty is more than a lack of money. It is often the result of broken relationships—with God, with self, with others, and with the land that sustains life. Our work addresses all four, helping families move from survival to stability, and from dependency to dignity.

Since 2008, Food for His Children has partnered with local communities in the Karatu District of Tanzania, serving **800+ families (4,700+ individuals)** across dozens of communities. Our work is led by **100% Tanzanian staff**, rooted in local knowledge, and designed for long-term sustainability.

How We Help Families Escape Poverty

Rather than providing short-term aid, we equip families to provide for themselves—now and for generations to come.

🐐 Goat Farming & Livelihoods

Each family receives dairy goats through a micro-loan model. Goats provide:

- Nutritious milk for children
- Income through milk and goat sales
- Manure to fertilize crops

Families “pass on” goats to other families, multiplying impact and strengthening community ownership.

🌱 Climate-Smart Agriculture

We train families in sustainable, climate-smart farming techniques—including **vertical gardening, irrigation, soil restoration, and fodder systems**—so they can grow more food on less land, even in drought-prone conditions.

📊 Business & Financial Training

Through faith-based business education (including Street Business School), families learn:

- Budgeting and savings
- Small business development
- Goal setting and problem solving

Savings groups help families build resilience and reduce vulnerability to crises.

- Health and nutrition education

As a Christian organization, faith is central to who we are. We offer prayer, Scripture, pastoral care, and discipleship **by invitation**, never by requirement. Families of all backgrounds are welcomed and respected.

The Farm & Innovation Center: A Model for the Future

FFHC’s **Farm and Innovation Center (FIC)** is a demonstration farm, training hub, and social enterprise designed to scale impact.

At the FIC, we:

- Train farmers in advanced agriculture and goat breeding
- Develop income-generating agribusinesses (like goat milk products)
- Host educational farm tours and impact tourism
- Create jobs and local economic opportunities

The FIC is key to our long-term vision: a future where local income covers operational costs and the model can be replicated across Tanzania.

This European platform allows Friendship Bangladesh to connect with potential donors and provides it with a support structure in terms of human resources, research & development and fundraising, Friendship works with vulnerable people in remote communities of Bangladesh in the fields of Health, Education, Income Generation, Climate Change Adaptation and Disaster Management, Inclusive Citizenship as well as Cultural Preservation.   The support of Friendship Luxembourg is far from being limited to financial support.   Over the years, a multidimensional partnership has been developed, combining technical assistance, skills sponsorship, volunteering and exchanges of best practices with various Luxembourg companies.

myAgro is an award-winning, nonprofit social enterprise helping smallholder farmers in West Africa move out of poverty.

In West Africa, there are more than 60 million smallholder farmers – many of whom live on less than $2 per day. These farmers face a number of challenges that keep them in a cycle of poverty. First, they lack access to secure places to save money. This means at planting time, they are unable to purchase high-quality seeds, fertilizers, and other farm inputs. Because many smallholders in West Africa are dependent on one rainy season per year, their yields and income are vulnerable to climate change as rains become less predictable and temperatures rise. Lastly, many smallholders lack access to the information and training they need to improve soil fertility and increase their yields.

Since 2012, myAgro has provided farmers with a savings tool, high-quality inputs, and the training and support they need to increase farm productivity. myAgro farmers are equipped to improve their yields and income, ensuring their family’s food security and livelihood. The myAgro model includes:

- Mobile Layaway Technology: Farmers save money little by little to purchase myAgro packages. They make payments using mobile money or scratch cards (similar to buying mobile phone credit).
- High-Quality Farm Inputs: Farmers select from rainy and off-season packages of high-quality seeds and fertilizer, tree seedlings, or poultry – which are delivered within or very near villages.
- Climate-Smart Agricultural Training: Farmers receive in-person agriculture training on microdosing fertilizer, organic composting, intercropping, and more – leading to increased soil fertility and higher yields. 
- Year-Round Call Center Support: myAgro Call Centers provide farmers with real-time mobile support to answer questions, including calls made to every farmer to support them during planting season.

The myAgro model creates a powerful impact. Over the last five years on average, myAgro farmers across Mali and Senegal have grown 130% more food and earned $156 more annually than control farmers. For a farmer making $2/day, this represents a 21% increase in annual income.

Because farmers are able to reinvest this income in their farms for the next season, myAgro’s market-based approach to improved food security creates an impact that is sustainable. And because our model is built on mobile technology, it is scalable and replicable.

Importantly, myAgro provides a pathway for women farmers to overcome gender barriers and increase household income. We design our model, packages, and training with women’s needs at the center. In 2024, 70% of all farmers served were women.

The **California Indian Museum and Cultural Center (CIMCC)** exists to honor and advance the cultural vitality, sovereignty, and resilience of California Indians, recognizing their enduring relationships to land and place. Led by California Indian expertise, we amplify traditional knowledge, lifeways, and voices. Through education and advocacy, we deepen public understanding of California Indian histories, cultures, and contemporary leadership.

We achieve our purpose by being a dynamic and innovative museum and cultural center, providing exhibits and educational programs for diverse audiences, and a resilience hub for Native communities. We represent and champion California Indian knowledge, perspectives, and voices, and work to change systems by increasing California Indian visibility and authority within them.
