I support women around the world. Now, with the fascism in our government under the criminal Trump, women in the United States are facing discrimination and health risks as found in those countries we ripped health care from through USAID.  We are a nation under siege by white supremacists and bigots affecting the entire world. We have a government lead by a felon, racist, xenophobe who most of us are ashamed of and fear for all of us because of his war crimes.

Yes !! Get ART back in schools. I took commercial art in vo-tech for 3 or 4 years in high school and loved it. I ended up in a career in Nursing and taught/helped my long term patients with art projects while in the hospital. Art is so important for kids !! Please keep it in schools .

I’m a 21 year old nurse, real estate agent, wife & mom of two here in the U.S. I have two beautiful boys of my own, married to an amazing husband & started my career but it wasn’t always like this. I have deep appreciation for my roots, my family and I want to contribute to Children of the Mekong because I, myself was once a refugee. My parents are originally from Myanmar, they’re from the Shan state, we’re Shan that speak Burmese but they moved to Thailand & became refugees to come to the States so my little brother & I would have a better future. I believe every child, adult & everyone deserves security, in learning, loving, caring for one another. I contribute because these children are the futures. Never give up on your aspirations & beliefs, whatever that may be!
