Empathy in Action changes the hearts and minds of all its participants, both inside and outside the system. In learning about each other, we learn about ourselves and broaden our understanding of what it is to be human. I wholeheartedly support Shoe4Africa, a nonprofit charity founded in 2006 by an accomplished runner with dreams to better serve humanity via charitable deeds to build schools, community healthcare facilities and hospitals in Kenya, East Africa. 
As an endurance running hobbyist, passionate healthcare professional and seasoned traveler to Africa, it is my pleasure to kickstart my fundraising campaign for Shoe4Africa with a personal pledge and spreading the word of the charitable deeds of Shoe4Africa’s current mission to make cancer treatment for children a reality in Kenya’s Rift Valley. Every generous donation will contribute to the success of the first children cancer hospital in Sub-Saharan Africa. 
Together, we can beat childhood cancer in East Africa.
