Rescuing, researching and rewilding Amazonian wildlife while empowering communities through education and sustainable solutions. 

**Hoja Nueva** is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 47-4323459) working at the forefront of wildlife conservation, research, and community development in the Peruvian Amazon. Our mission is to protect, rehabilitate, and rewild endangered species while fostering sustainable living and education in local communities. We believe that true conservation must go hand-in-hand with community empowerment, scientific research, and education to ensure long-term protection of the Amazon’s ecosystems.

At the heart of our work is the rescue and rewilding of iconic and threatened species—including jaguars, margays, pumas, jaguarundis, and tapirs—many of which suffer due to habitat loss, human-wildlife conflict, or illegal wildlife trade. Our state-of-the-art rescue and rehabilitation center provides expert medical care and pre-release conditioning to give these animals a second chance in the wild. With a 97% release success rate, our innovative rewilding techniques and long-term monitoring are helping restore the balance of nature in the Amazon rainforest.

Our **Sumamos Project** enhances animal welfare nationwide by promoting ethical practices in zoos and rescue centers. Through capacity-building, on-site training, and technical support, Sumamos elevates care standards and opens new possibilities for the recovery and eventual reintroduction of wild animals.

Research is a key pillar of our work. Hoja Nueva manages one of the largest camera trap networks in the Amazon, producing extensive data on mammal populations, activity patterns, and the impacts of human activity. Our findings have been published in peer-reviewed journals such as *Biotropica*, advancing global knowledge of tropical biodiversity. Beyond mammals, our **WildGenes Project** explores microbial diversity through non-invasive soil and fecal sampling. In collaboration with international partners like Cambridge University, this research contributes to a deeper understanding of the Amazon’s unseen ecological networks.

Hoja Nueva is also a leader in **community-based conservation**. Our **One Health** approach connects wildlife protection with human and environmental health. We work with rural villages like Puerto Lucerna to implement sustainable agriculture, waste management systems, and access to clean water—improving both community well-being and ecological health. Our dog and cat rescue program, which includes spay/neuter campaigns and veterinary services, helps reduce disease transmission and human-wildlife conflict, while improving the lives of animals and people alike.

Education is central to everything we do. We lead monthly workshops and conservation events for local students, teaching wildlife protection, environmental stewardship, and sustainability. Our international internship and research programs bring students and scientists from around the world to the Amazon for hands-on experience in wildlife care and conservation. Our six-month **Wildlife Rehabilitation Course** offers in-depth training in animal handling, clinical care, and reintroduction strategies for those pursuing careers in wildlife conservation.

Through our integrated programs in rescue, research, and community engagement, Hoja Nueva is creating a future where people and wildlife coexist in harmony, and the Peruvian Amazon thrives for generations to come.

The Diaspora Salon is an initiative of Association Collectif Eclats de Lune which organizes cross-cultural events . This specific program is an annual convening of scholars, artists, cultural practitioners, financiers, technologists, and community builders from across Africa, Europe, the Caribbean, and the Americas. It is designed as an intentional intervention: a space where students and entrepreneurs experience, often for the first time, what it means to belong to excellence—and to be seen, valued, and welcomed into it. 

Beyond inspiration the participants gain durable access to a global network that invests in their potential, mentors their ambitions, and walks alongside them over time. This is social capital made visible, transferable, and enduring. Most Black students and entrepreneurs remain structurally excluded from these global networks. Few have the opportunity to travel. Fewer still have direct relationships with Black leaders operating at the highest levels across sectors and geographies.

Philanthropic support for the Diaspora Salon directly addresses this gap. It ensures that proximity to excellence is not an accident of privilege, but a deliberate act of investment—one that creates lifelong networks, expands global possibility, and helps a new generation imagine, and access, futures previously out of reach.

Our past initiatives have shown that access to global networks and excellence creates permanent, life-changing impact.    

Our annual gathering unfolds in Marrakech, beginning on the final day of the Contemporary African Art Fair 1:54 — a moment when the city hums with creativity and the spirit of Black cultural imagination. The sponsored participants for most have never travelled. They are then immersed in a world where brilliance travels freely across continents, and art collectors from around the globe arrive to celebrate Black excellence in contemporary art.

For many who may not often step inside museums, it becomes a revelation — a doorway into the vast and powerful presence of Black artists shaping the global stage. Creativity is not simply seen. It is felt, shared, and honored as part of a living, breathing heritage. 

After discovering the international power of Black visual artists, participants are then immersed in four days of luminous conversations with leaders who look like them — voices of brilliance, achievement, and imagination. In their presence, possibility widens. Dreams feel nearer. And students begin to see that they, too, can aspire — and belong — at the very center of excellence.

Association Collectif Eclats de Lune 

One of the most sought-after young artist programs in France 

This Paris-based opera company is dedicated to lyric repertoire from the mid-18th century to the present. Founded and directed by American conductor David Stern, it combines an ambitious young artists program and a versatile instrumental ensemble.  Opera Fuoco has been in existence since 2003 initially as a top-level period instrument ensemble and later as an internationally recognized young artist troupe.  David Stern, Katharina Wolff and the Fuoco team have developed a multi-faceted program to develop young vocal talent at a professional level.  Opera Fuoco offers a unique, custom-made experience to young singers transitioning from conservatory to professional life.  Singers are able to work with Maestro Stern, experienced vocal coaches and stage directors in various contexts ranging from masterclasses and recitals to large-scale performances with orchestra and fully staged opera productions. The repertoire spans not only several centuries but a variety of genres, from baroque to contemporary, including musical comedy and jazz.  Opera Fuoco has shaped its young artist program not as an academy but as a professional company for young singers engaged for a period of three to four years. In its 13 years of existence, Opera Fuoco's Young Artist Program has trained approximately 50 singers from 15 different countries. Our 15 current members come from 5 different countries, and candidates from the last round of auditions represented 34 nationalities. Opera Fuoco's activities are largely Paris-area based, with masterclasses held in prestigious spaces such as the Petit Palais and regular concerts at the Philharmonie de Paris and the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées. The company has also enhanced its international reputation by developing regular performance partnerships with the Bachfest in Leipzig, the Beethovenfest in Bonn, the International Telemann Festival, the Swedish Chamber Orchestra as well as the Shanghai Baroque and Beijing Music Festivals in China.

Manzil Mystics empowers underserved youth through music, creating safe, joyful learning spaces and building skills for the future.

Manzil Mystics was founded by a group of young musicians who grew up in low-income families in Delhi and found their voice through Manzil; a learning community and nonprofit started by an IIM Ahmedabad graduate, Ravi Gulati. The nurturing and creative environment of Manzil gave them not just music, but confidence, purpose, and a happy, safe space to grow. Five of these youth (the co-founders of Manzil Mystics) went on to earn 100% scholarships to study in the USA. On returning, they realized that over 4.4 million children in Delhi-and millions more across India—lack the same opportunities to learn and express themselves through music.

They also discovered a deeper gap: while India has a centuries-old musical heritage, there was no structured, inclusive initiative to make music education accessible and meaningful for every child. To change this, they founded Manzil Mystics; a nonprofit dedicated to using the power of music to educate, empower, and create livelihoods.

Our vision is simple yet powerful: every child deserves at least one hour of happy and safe space each week through music to learn, express, and heal.

Our mission is to enable access to quality music education for 1 million children by 2027 through our Learning Through Music (LTM) model, which combines education, livelihood, and community-building. We aim to nurture a generation of creative, empathetic, and confident children—while helping young musicians from low-income backgrounds earn dignified livelihoods as music facilitators.

Core Programs:

1. Learning Through Music:

A Curriculum implemented in government and low-income schools, this curriculum integrates music with academics and life skills, helping children develop focus, empathy, and confidence while learning subjects like language, math, and social-emotional awareness through songs.

2. Learning Through Music Fellowship:

An 18-month livelihood and leadership program for young musicians from underserved communities. Fellows are trained, mentored, and placed in schools to teach music while earning a stipend transforming both their own lives and those of thousands of children.

3. The Music Bus:

India’s first mobile music school, the Bus brings music to communities with little or no access. It creates joyful, safe learning spaces in schools and neighborhoods, reaching thousands of children and families each year.

Focus Areas:

Education: Building joyful and inclusive classrooms through music.

Livelihood: Empowering young musicians to become educators and community leaders.

Community Building: Fostering harmony, social change, and emotional wellbeing through music gatherings, festivals, and performances.

Why It Matters: In a country of over 52 million children under 18 children struggle with anxiety, stress, and lack of creative outlets, Manzil Mystics uses music as a pathway to mental wellness, self-expression, and social change. Music helps children learn better, feel safer, and believe in themselves. It bridges divides of gender, class, and faith—making it a universal language of hope and belonging.

Our Future:

By 2027, we aim to reach 1 million children and train 1,000 community musicians across India, creating a movement that redefines learning—not just as academics, but as joyful exploration through music.

The LRE Foundation is an international network dedicated to the cultural heritage related to World War II, its memory and meaning.

The LRE Foundation is a growing international, inclusive network that connects people and organisations dedicated to preserving and valorising the tangible and intangible cultural heritage related to World War II, its memory and meaning. The organisation’s main objective is to make this history relevant and accessible, especially for the younger generations. 

The LRE Foundation promotes diversity by developing a multi-perspective understanding of the history of World War II. As each country had a different wartime experience, it is our goal to present each perspective in relation to each other.

Its main projects are :

- Liberation Route Europe 

A certified Cultural Route of the Council of Europe that connects people, places, and events to mark Europe’s liberation from occupation during World War II. 

In order to make the route a physical part of the European landscape, LREF is developing a network of Liberation Route Europe trails that allows new ways of experience the route by hiking, walking, and cycling.

Renowned architect Daniel Libeskind has designed a symbolic family of trail markers called the ‘Vectors of Memory’ that will honour people, places, and stories found throughout the European landscape.

- Europe Remembers

Europe Remembers is an awareness and information platform that brings together commemorative sites and events in a collaborative, inspirational remembrance portal. Europe Remembers seeks to create a global commitment to preserve history and eyewitness memories for future generations, and call for an active participation.

It enables diverse communities to reflect on the complex heritage of World War II from multiple historical perspectives. The aim is to teach, to share experiences, and to encourage mutual understanding of our shared past. With fewer eyewitnesses each passing year, Europe Remembers seeks actively to promote new ways of commemorating and remembering World War II for the future.

- Youth Programme

The LRE Foundation is committed to promoting innovative active remembrance and memory transmission projects targeting the younger generations through the LRE Youth Programme. An essential feature of these initiatives is the inclusion and sharing of diverse experiences, applying a multi-perspective approach to WWII history and remembrance.

With HistoryTreks, funded by the Erasmus+ programme, students of different countries get together to reflect on the history and impact of WWII on their regions with formal and non-formal learning methods, including hiking the Liberation Route Europe and visiting remembrance sites along the way.

In turn, with EASTory through their Eyes and Persecution through their Eyes, young Europeans are invited to learn about personal stories of people who experienced WWII and its consequences across Europe, reflecting on the complexity of such shared history. The ‘through their Eyes’ series combines an online and travelling exhibition with youth events in partner locations and is funded by the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values programme of the EU.

Accelerator Media launched its flagship podcasts, Ignition Sequence and Go! For Launch, to immediate success, garnering over 670,000 YouTube views and 1,500 subscribers in just the first ten weeks, demonstrating significant public interest. This rapid growth, driven entirely by volunteer efforts, validates the demand for content that explores profound questions and career paths in science, technology, and culture, and signals our potential for even greater impact as we expand.

**Primary Platforms**
Currently, Accelerator Media distributes content primarily through YouTube and leading podcast platforms like Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Google Podcasts. Our ambitious growth strategy includes future collaborations and distribution through major platforms such as PBS, Netflix, or Amazon Prime, especially for our documentary-focused project, Curiosity Entangled.

**The Need for Support**

To produce this transformative content at scale, we need the financial resources to grow our team, enhance production quality, and expand our reach.

To date, all of our work has been accomplished by a dedicated volunteer team operating with minimal funding. Now, to meet that demand and ensure long-term impact, we must transition from a volunteer-led effort to a fully supported organization with the capacity to grow.

For more than 65 years, ITBA - Instituto Tecnólogico de Buenos Aires  has contributed to solving the challenges of humanity through a university education recognized for its excellence, the production of scientific knowledge and international collaboration, and outstanding levels of excellence among its graduates.

Thanks to the financial contribution of companies and individuals, scholarships are obtained so that young people  with talent, passion and determination, can study at ITBA.

Associação Hagadá (Hagadá Association) was created on July 25th 2019. Its objective is to promote and carry on the activities necessary for the creation, establishment and operation of an institution with museological functions in Lisbon - The Tikvá Museu Judaico Lisboa (Jewish Museum of Lisbon). Also, it aims to enrich and preserve the associated cultural heritage, display the Jewish experience and culture, as well as the role of Portuguese Jews in the history of Lisbon and Portugal, and in the Diaspora. Associação Hagadá (Hagadá Association) will perform the following main activities: - Creation and establishment of the Tikvá Museu Judaico Lisboa (Jewish Museum Lisbon); - Ensure that the Tikvá Museu Judaico Lisboa (Jewish Museum Lisbon) fulfils its role as a museum; - Promote, organize and publicise exhibitions, talks, debates and conferences; - Promote the collection and preservation of sources essential to the awareness of Portuguese Jewish history and the Jewish cultural heritage existing in Portugal; - Promote actions intended to encourage citizenship and human rights; - Promote actions intended to combat all forms of discrimination, based in particular on race, ethnicity and religious intolerance and appreciating cultural and religious differences as the heritage of Humanity; - Promote actions intended to preserve the Jewish cultural heritage existing in Portugal; - Perform educational activities; - Support and encourage research and the development of Jewish studies in Portugal and about Portugal; - Promote publications related to Jewish cultural heritage.

The Taube Center is committed to strengthening the bonds between Jews and Jewish communities worldwide.

The Taube Center provides innovative educational programs and extensive resources with the aim to enrich Jewish life in Poland and to connect Jews from around the world with their Eastern European heritage. The Taube Center has developed an array of programs, which serve the Jewish communities in Poland and engage audiences from around the world. Constantly expanding its network of partner organizations, the Center has recently become a member of the European Association for the Preservation and Promotion of Jewish Culture and Heritage. Taube Jewish Heritage Tours Taube Jewish Heritage Tours is a mission-driven, on-the-ground Jewish heritage tour service based in Poland. Our professional team of academics, guides, educators, and community leaders provide meaningful and engaging customized tours of Poland's multicultural landscape, infusing each encounter with illuminating personal stories and insights from those engaged in Polish Jewish life and committed to the preservation of Polish Jewish heritage. TJHTalks Series Having suspended our flagship program, Taube Jewish Heritage Tours, we launched TJHTalks in April 2020 as an interactive way to maintain contact with past and future tour participants and to broaden the Center's audience. Yerusha: Professional Development Program The year-long program, now in its second year, distinguishes itself from other Jewish professional development opportunities in that the operative language is Polish and all workshop facilitators are based in Poland. Resource and Educational Materials The Taube Center has developed a sophisticated set of resource materials in several languages that support our educational programs and are especially valuable for our study tour program. Our publications have been disseminated at the POLIN Museum and the Galicia Jewish Museum and through Polish embassies and cultural institutions around the world.

The Institute for Human Sciences (IWM Vienna) is an institute of advanced studies in the humanities and social sciences founded in 1982. We promote intellectual exchange across disciplines, between academia and society, and among regions that now embrace Eastern, Central and Western Europe, the Global South and North. We aim to reframe larger questions of academic debate and public interest that address today's complex challenges.  Founded in 1994, the Remember Museum is one of the most interesting of its kind. It is housed in an old renovated barn and is comprised mainly of items abandoned by the American First Infantry Division soldiers who once enjoyed "R & R" at the Schmetz' s farm when Marcel was a young boy. The artifacts include personal items given by numerous WWII Veterans from various units. It is a museum with a human dimension, made great by its welcoming environment, its originality, its simplicity. The museum strives to serve as the testimony of our gratefulness towards all the G.I.s who, at the risk of their lives, gave us our freedom back. Because curators Marcel & Mathilde (M&M) are nearing retirement, the museum and its contents will be transferred to the King Baudouin Foundation and a board of directors will manage the future of this great endeavor, while keeping it warm and personal much like M&M themselves. Torrance Chinese School (TCS) was founded in 1989. After many years of growth and development, it's been one of the largest Chinese schools in Southern California. TCS offers language classes from grades K to Pre-AP, in both traditional and simplified Chinese.
TCS is being run by volunteers of students and parents. All of the Administrative and staff, Board of the Directors, Parent Assembly are volunteered by the parents.
TCS provides enriching activities including Talent Show, Camping, Track & Field, poem recitation, poster competition, and carnival on Mother's Day. Besides, the students also have the opportunities to learn Chinese traditions like dough figurines, calligraphy, Chinese knots, and paper folding arts.
TCS is a California-registered non-profit organization. Our goal is to promote the Chinese language and culture in the Los Angeles area and all over the U.S., broaden understanding between Americans and Chinese. Over the years, TCS has evolved from a language school to a community center for thousands of Chinese Americans in the South Bay area. Many of our students' parents become good friends even after their children graduated from our school.
