WCK provides food to those in need during natural and man-made disasters. Right now in the wake of Covid-19 they are supplying take away meals in NYC. Personally I have seen them in action in Tijuana and they are an amazing organization.

Founded in 2010 by Chef José Andrés, World Central Kitchen (WCK) is first to the frontlines providing fresh meals in response to crises. Applying our model of quick action, leveraging local resources, and adapting in real time, WCK has served hundreds of millions nourishing meals around the world. When disaster strikes, WCK’s Relief Team mobilizes with the urgency of now to start cooking meals for people in need. WCK serves comforting meals to survivors of disasters quickly by partnering with organizations on the ground and activating a network of local restaurants, food trucks, or kitchens. To support regional economies, WCK prioritizes purchasing local ingredients to cook with or distribute. Food provides not only nourishment, but also comfort and hope, especially in times of crisis.

Nelson Mandela University believes that no academically deserving student should be denied education due to financial constraints. Partners In Health is a social justice organization that responds to the moral imperative to provide high-quality health care globally to those who need it most. We strive to ease suffering by providing a comprehensive model of care that includes access to food, transportation, housing, and other key components of healing. We bring the benefits of modern medicine to those who have suffered from the overt and subtle injustices of the world, in the past and in the present. By establishing long-term relationships with sister organizations based in settings of poverty, Partners In Health strives to achieve two overarching goals: to bring the benefits of modern medical science to those most in need of them and to serve as an antidote to despair.

We draw on the resources of the world’s leading medical and academic institutions and on the lived experience of the world’s poorest and sickest communities. At its root, our mission is both medical and moral. It is based on solidarity, rather than charity alone.

When our patients are ill and have no access to care, our team of health professionals, scholars, and activists will do whatever it takes to make them well—just as we would do if a member of our own families or we ourselves were ill.

Our Core Beliefs:
-    All human lives have the same value, and every human being has the inalienable right to be healthy to fulfill their potential.
-    The right to health is not the only right held by our patients. Other fundamental human rights are interrelated and just as inalienable.
-    All people need to stand in solidarity with those who find themselves at the margins of modern society.
-    The playing field needs to be leveled for those individuals who are born at a disadvantage (equity vs equality).
-    Injustice is not accidental but a direct result of structural violence and oppression. We can fight injustice by changing those dynamics.
-    It is our moral call to action to expose social injustice and to work toward correcting those systemic forces that create inequalities, no matter how impossible or challenging this task might look.

Encompassing the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and eight hospital campuses in the New York metropolitan area, as well as a large, regional ambulatory footprint, Mount Sinai is internationally acclaimed for its excellence in research, patient care, and education across a range of specialties. The Mount Sinai Health System was created from the combination of the Mount Sinai Medical Center and Continuum Health Partners, which both agreed unanimously to combine the two entities in July 2013.

The Health System is designed to increase efficiencies and economies of scale; improve quality and outcomes; and expand access to advanced primary, specialty, and ambulatory care services throughout a wide clinical network. The Health System includes more than 7,200 physicians, including general practitioners and specialists, and 13 free-standing joint-venture centers. PHAN creates tools and resources for folks with long COVID, and we advocate for clean air and prevention of airborne diseases. 

Our mission is to safeguard public health by improving air quality, promoting evidence-based Long COVID and COVID-19 prevention strategies, and empowering communities through education, advocacy, utilization of existing tools, and developing new tools and technologies using emerging technology and methods. We strive to reduce the impact of airborne pollutants and infectious diseases by advocating for the widespread adoption of HEPA and MERV filtration systems, supporting mask usage, disseminating reliable information about the long-term harm caused by COVID-19 and the effectiveness of clean air, and introducing collaborative and in-house developed tools using emerging technology.

SIPA enriches and empowers generations of Pilipino Americans and others in Historic Filipinotown and throughout Los Angeles.

SIPA is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization serving Historic Filipinotown and other neighborhoods throughout Greater Los Angeles County. As 50 million Americans are facing food insecurity, we believe that access to food is essential to human dignity and our ability to contribute to society.

We create practical options to access healthy meals. Our current initiatives include Rethink Certified where we empower restaurants to feed their communities in need using surplus, donated or purchased food, and Rethink Café, our donation-based café where anyone and everyone can come and enjoy a fresh, nutritious meal.

Through our programs, we've partnered with over 50 New York City restaurants & dining establishments and served over 2 million meals through 75+ community organizations. We are growing, with locations in NYC, San Francisco, Chicago, Nashville, and Miami.
