While the world faces many challenges, there are also solutions being piloted all around the world! Ecovillages are community-driven labs of ecological, social and cultural solutions. Global Ecovillage Network connects these places, shares the solutions, and facilitates spreading of ecovillage-based approaches for environmental and social restoration, locally, worldwide and globally.

What do we do? We link existing initiatives for mutual support and share best practices; we support new ecovillages and provide education and capacity building; we engage in post-disaster regions for community-led rebuilding and work with local and regional authorities; we foster fundamental behaviour shifts in community for systemic change.
Global Ecovillage Network connects 6000 grass-root communities in 114 countries, as well as builds connections with NGOs, academia and policy-makers to facilitate the global transition to a peaceful and resilient future for all.
