In January 2023, 14-month-old Virgil VanKleek was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare and aggressive childhood cancer. While Virgil is now cancer-free, the toll on his family was overwhelming—physically, emotionally, and financially. From fishing and snorkeling to exploring coral farms, encountering marine life, and fulfilling his mother, Amanda’s, lifelong dream of swimming with dolphins, the family experienced hope and happiness they never thought possible.

Four boys in long-term foster care recently spent a week in the Florida Keys thanks to the Jose Wejebe Memorial Foundation and Misty Wells’ A Reel Future. For children who have endured trauma, instability, and loss, the trip was more than just fishing, dolphin swims, and exploring coral reefs—it was a chance to laugh, feel safe, and create memories of joy. From cooking their own catch to learning about conservation, the boys experienced what it means to be cared for and supported, often for the first time.

Their counselor said the experience was “truly unforgettable,” and one of the boys shared, “This breath of fresh air finally brought peace to such a whirlwind of a world we live in… it showed me the sun is always shining, and that there are people that do care about us foster kids.” That is the power of your generosity. The Roquan Smith Foundation provides much needed assistance to families in rural Georgia and support underprivileged children.

The Roquan Smith Foundation supports community impacts and programs that will strengthen the core of family. There are large food drives in Macon County Georgia and Baltimore annually, annual free football camps, holiday helper events, free game day tickets to local organizations that support children in foster care and families impacted by domestic violence. And countless other micro projects and events to support football programs and families in need.

As a dedicated division of the Department of Public Works, **Bloomington Animal Care and Control** operates the City of Bloomington Animal Shelter and provides compassionate animal control services for the community.

Helen Woodward Animal Center's passionate belief that animals help people and people help animals through trust, unconditional love, and respect, creates a legacy of caring.  Sharing this philosophy with others, the Center inspires and teaches, locally and globally, the importance of the animal-human bond.

Helen Woodward Animal Center was founded as the San Dieguito Animal Care and Education Center in 1972 with its primary focus on pet adoption and humane education.  In 1986 the Center was renamed after its founder, Helen Woodward, and program offerings were expanded to include Pet Encounter Therapy, Therapeutic Riding, and AniMeals. These programs helped further our goal of serving as a place where “people help animals, and animals help people” by bringing people and animals together for the mutual benefit of both.  In 2017, the Center added Pets Without Walls to provide no-cost vet care to the pets of the homeless population in San Diego. Since then, we have added additional services including a top-rated boarding facility, a state-of-the-art equine hospital, an affordable small animal hospital for the public, and a designer resale store. 
Helen Woodward herself would be proud of the over 10,000 pets and more than 90,000 people these programs touch each year, and that the Center continues to teach and provide programming for all of San Diego County, across the nation, and globally the importance of the human-animal bond.

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit raising funds for animal rescues & sanctuaries through auctions and grants located in Zebulon, NC.



The Mona Pants Foundation raises funds through its Brick & Mortar Shop, Mona Pants Mintage, and weekly auctions. With these resources, we provide K9 officers with bulletproof protective vests, supply first responders with pet oxygen mask kits, award $500 grants to animal rescues each week, and host regular auctions to support rescue groups. We also contribute to animal sanctuaries and vegan refuges.

Mona Pants Foundation

Portland based org. that provides support to youth experiencing foster care, ages 7-23 with essential items and life skills


Project 48 is committed to supporting youth who are experiencing foster care during vulnerable transitions in their lives. Our desire is that all youth in the greater Portland area would have access to brand new, brand name clothing to help ease their transition into or within the foster care system. Additionally, we provide transitional support to teens and young adults as they are navigating the complexities of transitioning out of the foster care system.

Driven by concerns of health, education &amp; equality for vulnerable women as an integral and critical dimension of human rights, Ladli Foundation became a reality in 2012 as a grassroots social catalyst. It was founded by Devendra Kumar, whose incredible journey began as a child laborer in a poverty-stricken environment. Where he faced numerous hardships and atrocities during his orphaned and challenging childhood. Born in a crime-prone slum, he endured abandonment by his parents, who left him with his three-day-old infant sister when he was just two years old. Despite these adversities, Devendra's indomitable spirit and resilience led him to find solace and purpose in serving others.

Driven by his determination to protect his sister from child marriage and dowry, Devendra founded the Ladli Foundation with the noble mission of uplifting the oppressed and disadvantaged. His personal experiences as a child laborer and his encounters with delinquents and drug addicts further fueled his commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of those facing similar challenges.

Listed as a credible public charity organization by the Niti Aayog- the highest policy-making body of the Government of India and accredited with various union, states governments It has been and is known to bring positive reformative changes in society with a mission of building gender-sensitized inclusive society with equal access to basic, essential amenities and services, healthcare, education, work-force participation etc by women- the foundation has been diligently working in 50

Ladli Foundation USA

A loving children's home since 1985 giving care, nutrition, medical, education, and rehabilitation to abandoned children in Mumbai

**Bal Asha Trust provides comprehensive care to abandoned and destitute children for 38 years.** Our child protection services ensure immediate shelter in their children's homes.  **We have supported over 6,000 children through our programs.**

**We provide physical care, health services, education and well-balanced meals,** including formula milk for infants and four healthy meals a day for older children.  Our children go to different schools as per their ability. **We have two visiting pediatricians who treat children with a range of conditions,** from undernourishment,  Hep. B, Albinism and HIV to cerebral palsy and developmental delays.

**We also assist with legal procedures to reunite children with their biological parents across India or find caring Adoptive parents.** The goal is to ensure that every child in our care has the opportunity to grow up in a loving and supportive environment.

Our child development & family strengthening programs support vulnerable children in communities with Nutrition, Educational Sponsorships, and developmental therapies.  We create awareness in communities and among various stakeholders on Juvenile Justice and Adoption. Our mission is that every abandoned child is protected and in a loving family.

Bal Asha Trust

Women-led grassroots organisation in Goa rescuing, healing, sterilizing & rehabilitating injured and abandoned street animals.

Angels for Animals (officially registered as Alpha Angels Animal Trust) is a women-led, grassroots nonprofit organization based in rural Goa, India, working to rescue, sterilize, heal, protect and rehabilitate injured, abandoned, and vulnerable street animals.

After years of volunteering informally, sisters Sejal and Shraddha Vora registered Alpha Angels Animal Trust in 2021 with a vision to provide structured, sustainable care to the hundreds of street animals suffering in Goa’s neglected villages.

What We Do

🐾 **Rescue & Heal**
We respond to distress calls, rescuing injured, abandoned, and abused animals. From surgeries and emergency treatment to long-term rehabilitation, we give them a fighting chance.

✂️ **Spay/Neuter & Vaccinate**
To break the endless cycle of suffering, we run spay/neuter and anti-rabies vaccination programs. This not only controls population growth but also prevents rabies and improves community health.

🏡 **Rehabilitate & Shelter**
Some animals can’t survive on the streets again. We give them sanctuary and lifelong care to the paralyzed, the blind, the elderly. Those who can recover are rehomed with loving families or safely returned to their communities.

🤝 **Educate & Engage**
Through our *Surakshit Goa* program, we bring people together to reduce conflict and cruelty. We host workshops, resolve grievances, and encourage compassionate, responsible pet ownership.

To support the most vulnerable children in Egypt, through one of the most innovative NGO in Egypt. FACE supports over 3000 children per year and promotes child protection and alternative care best practices in Egypt.

FACE provides services to safeguard children, by addressing their needs and working with their communities to create practical, innovative and sustainable solutions to ensure them a better future. Since 2003, FACE has been running projects in Egypt, with the aim to improve child protection and develop alternative care for children living in institutions, and to reduce the number of children and youths working or living on the streets and reintegrate them into their society.

FACE has been working with orphans and abandoned children since 2003, and the organization runs since 2024 the first National Kafala Center in Egypt in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Solidarity, which aims at receiving all abandoned babies and orphans in Greater Cairo and Alexandria to ensure these babies have a chance to be placed in a Kafala family (local form of adoption/alternative care).                                                                FACE also runs 2 homes for children (males and females) who cannot be placed into Kafala families and who need to be raised and supported toward their social integration. A new aftercare program was created in 2021 to ensure all young people receive adequate support to ensure their social and professional integration after they leave the care of FACE.

Since 2008 FACE also runs a Street Children Program, composed of a large outreach team supporting children on the streets, in detention centers and in the poorest communities and slums through prevention activities. The Program runs a transitional home and case management team working to support children, and their families provide preventive support or to ensure children safe and sustainable reintegration. The program has become a model of good practice and provides support to more than 3500 children and to hundreds families every year.

Both programs include a Training component, to ensure the systematic and ongoing training of all FACE projects teams, to ensure effective children protection and high standards in service provision. The FACE training also works to provide training and technical support to different local organizations, schools, companies, and to local and national child protection public bodies about Child protection, childcare, social work, non-formal education, alternative care and other topics.

Sine 2022, FACE is facing the increasingly difficult economic context in Egypt, with a very high inflation and several devaluation of the local currency in recent years, which have contributed to increase needs for support among the poorest categories of the population, but in the same time have largely affected the organization finances. FACE needs your support to contribute to our work in favor of child protection in Egypt and to help us to continue providing support to the most vulnerable children in Egypt.

Rainbow Bridge Hospice Rescue, based in Middlesex, North Carolina, is dedicated to providing compassionate care, comfort, and dignity to senior and medically fragile dogs in their final chapter of life.
