The Hacker Dojo has moved several times over the last 10 years. Each space has had its advantages and disadvantages. 

Our current space was opened after we were closed down for the pandemic, and has been one of the smallest spaces in Hacker Dojo history (only 6k sq. ft. mostly divided between one large open room and a smaller classroom). This current size and layout has limited the number of things that could be going on at once. If there was an event in the main space, then everyone else had to crowd into the smaller classroom (or the few other very small rooms). 

We now have a great opportunity (for a limited time only) to add a beautiful additional 16k sq. ft. to our Hacker Dojo collection of spaces! This would easily allow several different classes or events go on at the same time, while still having plenty of space for people to work on their ideas, projects, and startups (as was possible in past locations). 

But as always, this takes money. So why should you donate $20 to this campaign, even if you never take advantage of the Hacker Dojo in person?

- It gives you a chance to support and be part of a world famous Silicon Valley institution, known for inspiring and empowering ANYONE to become a builder of awesomeness and a world changing entrepreneur. 

- The Hacker Dojo is a NON-PROFIT that provides almost all of its lectures and classes for FREE to everyone! You can check them out on meetup.com.

- The world is facing a lot of challenges, and we need support and train people in creative thinking, critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and applied curiosity! I personally have run several classes (again for free) at the dojo on how to implement your innovative ideas! 

So for the price of an Uber or a couple of Starbucks, you could instead make a small donation to help the Hacker Dojo fulfill its mission to give everyone the skills and inspiration to solve the many MANY challenges we are facing in the world and to build a better tomorrow!
