Health In Harmony is an international nonprofit dedicated to reversing global heating, understanding that rainforests are essential for the survival of humanity. Using the innovative process of Radical Listening, we collaborate with the experts – rainforest communities – to create the change the planet needs. We do not wait for others to act but hold ourselves accountable for the planet’s future. Humanity must halve atmospheric carbon by 2030, and we are committed to making a significant impact on this drawdown. In order to scale, our work is deeply rooted in monitoring, data, and evaluation. A study on our innovative model was published by The Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

New Roots Institute is a nonprofit empowering the next generation with knowledge and training to end factory farming.


Together, we can create a just and sustainable food system for all.
Factory farming is one of the most harmful industries, impacting the health of people, animals, and the planet. At New Roots Institute, we are strengthening one shared movement—the movement to end factory farming. By empowering the next generation with knowledge and training to do just that, the end is in sight.

Through interactive, high school and college lessons, we inspire critical thinking and dynamic discussions about the connections between industrial animal agriculture and current key issues impacting us all—like animal welfare, climate change and environmental sustainability, human rights, and personal and public health.

Through our Leadership Program, we offer fellowships for students motivated to dig deeper into the impacts, and solutions, of factory farming—while being trained in effective communication, advocacy, and leadership skills. Upon completing the fellowship, alumni go on—with our continued support—to develop and empower other leaders to create change in their communities toward our shared goal of ending factory farming.

**Zenger Farm** is a 501(c)3 nonprofit working urban farm in Portland, OR that models, promotes, and educates about sustainable food systems, environmental stewardship, community development, and access to good food for all. We are guided by a vision of a healthy, resilient community, where the wellbeing and prosperity of children and adults, regardless of race, geography or socio-economic status, is enhanced through access to affordable, plentiful and nourishing foods. As a justice centered, food access and education non-profit, we believe nourishment is a basic human right and that the root causes of inequitable food access – racism, poverty and other systems of oppression – must be addressed to create a just food system. Zenger Farm

We are the only advocacy organization in Oregon dedicated exclusively to Oregon Outdoor School and the students who attend. 

Friends of Outdoor School (Friends of ODS) is the key connection between Outdoor School and the larger community of individuals, businesses, community organizations, and government agencies that support Oregon’s statewide Outdoor School system. We accomplish our mission through network-building, community engagement, and advocacy. With a flexible, responsive, nimble, and adaptable approach, we work to build the capacity of the statewide Outdoor School system to ensure that Outdoor School provides equitable and inclusive learning experiences for each and every Oregon student.
