Our friend Dolly was a long time friend of Life Bloom and helped to start the sanitary napkin project that has now become a hallmark Life Bloom program. Dolly and her friends saved their pennies and donated them - with an initial gift of $100 turning into 3 months supply of sanitary supplies for 100 girls. Trying to secure money for monthly supplies is one of the primary reasons girls and women move into sex work. Helping to provide these supplies assists girls in staying in school and helps them pursue training for other vocations. Since that first gift, Life Bloom has started producing these supplies and selling them to fund the work of giving them away in schools to girls in need. A gift to this fundraiser honors Dolly and her heart for helping others, and will assist Life Bloom in continuing this important work.
