As of 2022, Nigeria reported that 18.5 million school-age children are not in school at all. This happens for 3 main reasons.

1. Children are told to work instead of going to school to help parents earn money to feed the family.
2. The cost of school
3. Insecurity and violence.

We have solutions for these problems.

To fix the problem of food, we observe that Nigeria has many cinder block walls surrounding schools, houses, and pathways. It's there for protection. We can use those spaces for vertical farms that can grow everything from Beans to Cucumbers and even Water Melons.

With this new source of food, we will make sure food will not be a barrier for education.
