Carter Caves is one of the best Midwest secrets! Amazing hiking, cool caves (in more ways than 1), and exceptional people.

Friends Of Carter Caves is a nonprofit organization focused on supporting Carter Caves State Park.

We **LOVE** Carter Caves State Resort Park and coordinate fundraising efforts and volunteer opportunities that support the park.  Funds are used for park projects that are not covered by the state park system. Friends members also contribute volunteer hours for events and trail maintenance.​

Our non-profit, 501 (c)(3) status, also enables us to seek out and apply for grants to enhance the park.

**A few examples of our activities:**

- Sponsor Wildflower Weekends/Interpretive programs
- Support the Carter Caves Trail Crew
- Purchase clothing & materials for Interpretive programs
- Purchase flowers & landscaping materials
- Purchase equipment for Recreational programs
- Assist with Camper Appreciation Weekend, Winter Adventure Weekend, Pioneer Life Week, Cave-In Movies, and much more!
