Our team is comprised of military professionals, former and current law enforcement, senior intelligence community veterans, child abuse and trafficking survivors, and people who are willing to do whatever it takes to end child trafficking in the USA.

National Veterans Homeless Support (NVHS) is dedicated to **eliminating homelessness among veterans in Central Florida**. Since 2008, NVHS has reduced veteran homelessness in Brevard County by 90%. We serve homeless and at-risk veterans and their families through:

- **Search and Rescue Outreach:** Locating and aiding homeless veterans wherever they are.
- **Prevention:** Providing financial assistance and case management to keep veterans and families housed.
- **Transitional Housing:** Operating facilities to help veterans rebuild stability and independence.

**Seasonal Support:**
Thanksgiving meal delivery and Christmas gifts for homeless and low-income veterans and families.

**Education:**
Monthly content on veteran benefits, PTSD, and more.

**Impact Last Year:**

- 359 veterans and 62 dependents assisted
- 103 veterans and 62 dependents prevented from homelessness
- 8 veterans and 2 dependents housed in transitional housing
- 396 Thanksgiving meals delivered
- 143 veterans and 51 children received Christmas gifts

**Why It Matters:**

- In 2024, Brevard saw a 14% decrease in veteran homelessness, thanks to NVHS.
- Preventing homelessness for 165 individuals saved Brevard County $5.1 million last year.
